Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a 4 meter x 4 meter room. Entrance into SCP-3894 is prohibited. Any changes to the object are to be reported to staff immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 1.25 meter wide, 2.0 meter tall, 1.25 meter long structure. It is made out of an unknown material that resembles steel but feels warm to the touch (75 degrees Celsius). The object has a moving panel on a side that when pressed will open and reveal a chamber within. This camber measures 1 meter wide, 1.75 meters tall and 1 meter long. Within this chamber on the side adjacent right, there is a small number pad (10 centimetres by 10 centimetres). An inscription directly underneath the number pad reads "Przekładnie Alfa"; a polish phrase meaning "Alpha Gears". On all sides of this inner chamber are scratches, burgundy stains that appear to be peeling in some areas, and a dark, round, sooted mark on the floor of the inner chamber.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX is believed to be an attempt at a "time travel" device from a Polish scientific facility. The documents that were included with the object include interviews with scientists involved, tests, practical uses and general operation of the object. Diagrams of the engineering and assembly were also included. These documents are being processed for sensitive data, and will later be transcribed.
