Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a furnished two room cell with a bathroom. Subject is allowed to wander the facility if it so chooses, and eat in the main canteen, but is not allowed to leave under any circumstances. Outside of testing protocol, SCP-XXXX is required to keep its gloves and face mask on, so that no epidemics happen within the facility.
During testing, SCP-XXXX is to be placed in an airtight room that is to be checked beforehand for any gaps, so as to not let any contagion escape. This room is to be decontaminated after every test.
Description: SCP-XXXX, who refers to itself as ‘Damien’, is a seven (7) year old human male of caucasian descent, 121.1 cm tall (47.7”) and weighing 22.4 kg (49 lbs) with brown hair and grey eyes. Subject’s clothing consists of an all black hoodie, blue denim jeans, grey gloves made out of wool, and a medical face mask. The hands of the subject are always glowing a dark red in colouration.
SCP-XXXX’s demeanour is friendly, but will become angered if it believes itself to be insulted or antagonised. Subject is especially sensitive about its family history, stating on multiple occasions that it is ‘none of anyone’s business.’ to personnel. The subject is unable to talk, but is able to communicate to personnel via sign language.
SCP-XXXX has shown the ability to make any form of disease that comes to mind manifest by touching objects and living beings with its bare hands. Aside from all diseases known to mankind and the Foundation, SCP-XXXX can also extend this ability to make fictional diseases and diseases of its own creation. Known diseases that SCP-XXXX has created have been named ██████ and ██████ by the subject. When asked, the subject has stated that it is unable to deactivate this ability at will, so it has ‘resorted to wearing gloves and a face mask to prevent a major epidemic’. Outside of regular testing protocol, the subject has shown no desire to use this ability, unless it is in self-defence.
Addendum XXXX-01: SCP-XXXX was discovered on 05/08/2008, in ████, Alaska, after multiple reports of a ‘disease wielding psychopath’ were made by civilians, prompting an investigation by MTF Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters"), under the guise of FBI and WHO personnel. Subject was found in an alleyway being held against a wall by a middle aged male of medium build, holding a knife to the subjects throat. When asked to step away, the man refused to comply, stating ‘This little menace will infect us all unless he is killed!’. The subject was then observed removing one of its gloves and touching an exposed spot on the man’s neck, causing the skin to slowly rot away within the span of a few minutes. The man was then observed turning blue, struggling to breathe during this period until his death, as a result of asphyxiation due to an at the time unknown bacterium (now identified as ██████) attacking the trachea.
