Item #: [PENDING]
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-# is to be hung in the center of a wall of an empty room, with one (1) standard glass window on each adjacent wall, connecting to the containment cells of SCP-#-A and SCP-#-1, respectively. Any unaffected personnel who interact with SCP-# or enter SCP-#'s containment room must wear blurred-lens goggles during their entire interaction with SCP-#. Unauthorized personnel are not to make visual contact with SCP-# under any circumstances. Video surveillance of SCP-#'s containment room is permitted, under the conditions that the surveillance camera provided uses a blurred lens, and remains eight (8) meters away from SCP-# at all times, to eliminate the possibility of memetic effects.
Should SCP-# sustain any physical damage, or six (6) months have passed since its previously scheduled maintenance routine, it is to be properly covered and brought to the provided Art Repair and Maintenance Mechanism-# (A.R.M.M-#), which has been programmed specifically to keep SCP-# in near-perfect condition. Should any complications arise with A.R.M.M-#, researchers with Security Clearance Level 3 or higher are to consult the provided manual and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Subjects designated to either SCP-#-A or SCP-#-1 should be contained in their respective cells. Under no circumstances are members from SCP-#-A to interact with members of SCP-#-1 (or vice-versa) unless the interaction occurs using a method that completely prevents physical contact.
Description: SCP-# is a 50.8cm x 40.6cm oil-on-canvas painting depicting a grey, adult Schnauzer (canis lupus familiaris). Upon viewing SCP-#, whether physically or through digital media, subjects nearly instantaneously form strong feelings toward SCP-X, either of affection towards SCP-#, or resentment towards SCP-#. The range of SCP-#'s anomalous effects vary based on if the subject can see SCP-# clearly, with vision impairment greatly limiting SCP-#'s range. Artistic depictions of SCP-#, along with visual media containing SCP-# with low image quality or digital manipulation have no anomalous effects.
