Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in Containment Locker-89 at Site-51. Sheet music and/or candles are not to be brought into the containment locker without the written permission of at least two personnel with Level-4 clearance or higher.

In the event that SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties become active, all personnel on-site are to be notified to stay clear of any unidentified entities that they may encounter. Entities are only to be interacted with if given permission by at least one Level-3 staff member.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an ornate piano manufactured by an unknown entity. Item is believed to be at least 67 years old. Two mannequins which appear to posses horns, and are dressed in red garbs have been nailed to the piano. The mannequins are placed in positions which make it difficult to actually use the piano without removing them. Sixteen glass balls can be found protruding from the piano, just above the keyboard.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties manifest when a lit candle and sheet music are placed on the object's lid. If these criteria are met, the song displayed on the sheet music will be played automatically by SCP-XXXX. It should be noted that the inner workings of SCP-XXXX do not possess any mechanisms capable of such functions.

As the sheet music plays, one or more unidentified entities of varying description will appear in the general area that SCP-XXXX is currently located. All entities produced during this event can cause mental and/or physical harm to human life. It is believed that each entity or group of entities correspond to a particular song. All entities disappear once SCP-XXXX has completed the piece.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in ███████, Germany during a Foundation raid on a group of Satan worshippers calling themselves "Lucifer's Acolytes." The group had been suspected of heavy reliance on anomalous objects in their practices. It is unknown whether the group was using the item for religious purposes, or purely as a form of entertainment.

Piece: "Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor (WoO 59, Bia 515)" by Ludwig van Beethoven

Result: A pair of abnormally large disembodied legs manifested inside the testing chamber. Entity was equipped with remarkably sharp toenails which it used to claw at the chamber door. Piece completed without incident.

Piece: "Entrance of the Gladiators" by Julius Fučík

Result: What appeared to be a clown wearing an all red costume and black makeup manifested inside the testing chamber. Subject wielded a knife and personally threatened several staff conducting the experiment. It is unknown how the subject obtained any knowledge it used during this event. Dr. Oxenrider was inflicted with mild psychological trauma. Subject made a full recovery two weeks after the incident.

Piece: "Ride of the Valkyries" by Richard Wagner

Result: Three winged entities resembling overweight women wearing full sets of body armor similar to that worn by the ancient Romans appeared at the main gate of Site-51. After harassing on-site guards by flying at them with weapons raised, subjects were terminated. Piece completed without further incident.

Piece: "Showroom Dummies" by Kraftwerk

Result: What were described as being four animate mannequins, similar in design to those found on SCP-XXXX manifested in various places on-site. Subjects were able to dismantle and reconstruct themselves at will. All attempts to damage the entities were met with failure. Two of the mannequins reportedly attempted to attack Researcher █████ █████. Dr. █████ escaped relatively unscathed.

Piece: "Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565" by Johann Sebastian Bach

Result: What appeared to be a malnourished human male with grotesquely long front teeth appeared from behind SCP-XXXX. Subject stared blankly at Dr. Treabor for the duration of the piece's playing time. Dr. Treabor reported the entity saying, "You've got a lovely neck," just before the piece's completion. However, no other staff working on the experiment recall this event.

Piece: "Lost Boy" by Ruth B

Result: What appeared to be a young boy in a state of advanced decay apparently manifested in the living quarters of Agent Taylor Wallace. Subject was reported sitting in a fetal position behind one of Wallace's filing cabinets. Agent stated that after she tried to interact with the entity, it reportedly attempted to bludgeon her to death. After the initial incident, Wallace was sent to the on-site medical bay for treatment of a fractured hip bone and several severe wounds inflicted by blunt force. Subject was released from treatment two months later, and made a full recovery seven months after the initial incident.

Piece: "American Pie" by Don McLean

Result: A large crowd of entities, appearing to be humans, spontaneously gathered outside Site-51. Entities wore costumes that matched attire from several different periods in time. Subjects were reportedly singing to the chorus of the piece, and holding signs displaying slogans such as "Give life back to music" and "We refuse to yield." After being confronted by on-site guards, multiple of the subjects revealed themselves to have firearms, killing two personnel and injuring eight others. Two minutes after the initial incident, the entities were terminated by firing squad.

Piece: "Flight of the Bumblebee" by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

Result: A large swarm of an unidentified species of insects entered the testing chamber via the ventilation system. These insects were described as appearing similar to the American bumblebee (Bombus pensylvanicus), but slightly larger and red in color. Subjects attempted to fly through the observation window, effectively killing or disabling themselves in the process. Piece completed without incident.
