Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
SCP-XXXX from the outside
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be under constant surveillance and guarded by no less than one armed security personnel at all times. A perimeter wall has been constructed approximately 30m from the structure to prevent trespass by unauthorized persons. All power lines connecting SCP-3575 to the public power grid have been disconnected and grounded. Testing involving SCP-XXXX must be fully documented and approved by a senior researcher or higher ranked staff before proceeding.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is an abandoned manufacturing plant located in Plonk, Poland, constructed in 2005 and decommissioned in 2012 shortly after the death of its private owner in an accident. Its interior consists of three main rooms: An indoor unloading bay, a packaging section and a central assembly area. The assembly area will hereafter be referred to as SCP-XXXX-A. A motorized conveyor belt can be found running through the length of the complex, starting at from the unloading bay and ending at the packaging section.
When an object is placed at the end of the conveyor belt, counter-intuitively being at the end of the supposed production line, SCP-XXXX enters an active state and begins disassembly of the said object via a completely reversed version of the normal manufacturing process used to create the item. The output materials appear to be the components or raw materials used to create the object. SCP-XXXX will not activate if the object(s) placed on the conveyor belt are already in a naturally occurring form or are handmade. The energy used to assemble the item seems to be returned during this process but it is currently unclear if conservation of energy is preserved or the energy is simply created by SCP-XXXX.
All entrances connected to SCP-XXXX-A seal themselves when SCP-XXXX is active via unknown mechanisms. Attempts to forcefully gain access to SCP-XXXX-A during its active state have been partially successful, allowing for a small opening wide enough for viewing. Entrances must NOT be tampered with when SCP-XXXX enters its active state, see Incident XXXX-01 for details.
SCP-XXXX-A may increase in volume significantly when SCP-XXXX enters an active state to accommodate necessary manufacturing equipment during this period. This process takes place almost instantly and does not include maintaining an atmosphere consistent with the one outside. Any breach in the structure will result in air rushing in violently until equal pressure is achieved. Despite the interior volume changing, the dimensions of the outer building remain the same.
Addendum XXXX-1█-1█
SCP-XXXX has shown possible signs of sapience, and efforts to verify this are on-going. See Incident XXXX-2 for details.
Discovery Log
Polish officials found SCP-XXXX to be responsible for several severe power surges in the vicinity of the site after exploring civilians left behind items activating it, forcing the replacement of multiple power lines and damaging private property. During further investigation, SCP-XXXX was accidentally activated when an entrance to SCP-XXXX-A was prevented from fully sealing by debris, resulting in minor injury of two personnel. The Foundation was alerted shortly following the incident.

Incident XXXX-1
During preliminary testing, one entrance to SCP-XXXX-A was prevented from fully sealing by researchers to allow for direct observation. It was unknown at this time that a pressure difference would be created. SCP-XXXX was activated, causing the explosive decompression of the unloading bay, injuring a researcher and two assisting personnel.
Incident XXXX-2
On ██/12/2017, Researcher ██████ attempted suicide via asphyxiation using SCP-XXXX, the cause later found as the death of Dr. ████, with whom he had personal relations with. Researcher ██████ is currently undergoing psychiatric evaluation and may be re-assigned or returned to service depending on evaluation results.
Camera logs show Researcher ██████ placing his wallet on the conveyor and running into SCP-XXXX-A before entrances to it could fully seal. SCP-XXXX activated but did not disassemble Researcher ██████'s wallet, instead outputting it intact along with a printed image of Dr. ████.
