Poems by Goose and AS

That was how my father did. I came back once more to find it again. A secret withhold from this family. I went to grave and started digging in the rain. When I found the coffin it up. He wasn't there.

Life was tough for our family. We were poor and lived of the land. I never went to school, as I was needed on the farm. Early death is the hardest death.

Eventually, we all grew up. I parted ways with my brother and sister and went to look for work in the big city. Started out as a pizza driver and worked up the ranks until I became the ceo of a large fast food company.

Days after my promotion, I was notified of my fathers death. This reminder of my dad made me remember the horsehead. A creature that I buried deep in my memories came up again.

One faithful day Me, my dad and our dog went hunting in the forest, searching for meat. we went to the lake where deer would always gather. When we came to the lake, there was no life. All the deer had been slaughtered, and left right were they died. Then, a large horse came out of the lake. However, its body was twisted and deformed, to where you could only recognizes it has a horse by its head.

I told my dad to leave, but his eyes were glued to that thing. My dad approached the being, even though I was begging him not to go. The creature approached him and swallowed him whole. I ran back to our house while trying not to cry.

I saw my dad there. He never acted weird.

So when I was notified, I went back and my suspicions were correct. The horsehead was my dad, and except for me nobody knew it. After digging up the grave. I heard a noise above my head, ¨Family is a gift, don't take it away¨.

I saw the thing in the window.
It was looking at me.
I was scared and crawled to the airco
It came through the window and wanted to see.
Me.

I ran to the kitchen but it came.
I grabbed a knife but it was too late.
It walked from the stairs like it needed a cane.
I charged at him at a steady rate.
That was great.
