Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxx is to be contained within a 100m x 100m x 100m tungsten enclosure, designed like a bird cage. This structure is not to be entered between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. local standard time. Any monitoring of SCP-xxx during these hours is to be done via security cameras installed within the structure. It is to be flat-muzzled all hours of the day, with the exception of feeding time set between the hours of 7:00 a.m to 8:30 a.m local standard time.
SCP-xxx is to be fed one adult sheep every morning at 7:00 a.m, local standard time. It is shown that SCP-xxx will also accept live game being released into the enclosure, as it seems to be a hunter by nature. Acceptable substitutions to this diet must be cleared with Dr. ██████████. All remnants, excluding skulls, of SCP-xxx's prey are to be completely cleaned out of the containment structure by 8:45 p.m. the same day.
As it is incredibly territorial against males of any species, only female staff members are allowed to enter the enclosure and interact with SCP-xxx. It has been noted by Dr. ████████ that the subject has a preference towards female staff with short black hair and blue eyes.
Description: SCP-xxx is a male specimen of an avian species resembling members of the order Accipitriformes, specifically Aquila verreauxii (Verreaux's Eagle), standing at 1.7m, weighing in at 96kg, and bears a wingspan of 3.6m. Its estimated age is 19 human years old. The subject bears the appearance of the mythical creature, the Harpy, and has the following physical features: Black scaled legs ending in serrated silver talons. Sleek, green tipped, black feathers that cover its body, minus its torso region, neck and face; it is bare skinned, pale in complexion. Where its ears are, are large sized feathery appendages tipped in a bio-luminescent green color, giving the subject a glow in the dark aspect. Covering the lower half of its face, down its neck, to just above its pectoral region is a black membrane, fitted like a mask. An opened mouthed, fanged smile is imprinted on the membrane, over where it's real mouth is most likely hidden behind. It has short, untamed, mahogany colored hair and green eyes with slit pupils.
SCP-xxx is sapient and capable of speaking in English, though it has been seen to use it's talons to speak basic sign language. Agent ████████ has reported that the subject prefers to communicate through screeching and other various noises.
During its containment, SCP-xxx has be observed to easily become volatile under stress, releasing deafening screeches ranging from 140 to 320 decibels. Subjects exposed to the sounds experience nausea, blood vessels bursting in the eye and ears, cranial bleeding, convulsions and possible death.
SCP-xxx was recovered in ██████, Japan, from the █████████ Forest. Subject was roaming wild, attempting to 'spirit away' females with short black hair and blue eyes. Park Ranger ██████ alerted the Foundation on September 15, 20██. SCP-xxx was picked up by Agents ██████ and ███, under the guise of animal control. As it was being restrained, SCP-xxxx permanently deafened one of the agents by holding them down and screeching at approximately 220 decibels. Class C amnesics were administered to staff. SCP-xxx was transferred to Site-██ where it is currently being kept.
