Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5164 is to be held in a standard humanoid containment unit.
Description: SCP-5164 is a black sphere with a skull shape on it made of an unknown material. The material SCP-5164 is made from feels smooth and is malleable, being able to be compressed to a single centimeter. The material cannot be separated, melted, or fused in any way. SCP-5164 can move the skull in any way while in its sphere form. The entity can morph its shape at will but has a consistent volume. It can only morph into other creatures. The skull shape will always be located where the face of the creature it morphs into would be. It communicates through telepathy for up to 10 meters. Humans talking to SCP-5164 regardless of which language they speak all report it having a noticeable British accent and it being very intelligent. It has the ability to see from the eyes of the skull shape.
Addendum 35-1: Anybody it would speak to understand it regardless of language. Any being while touching it can understand any language. Touching it also causes a 30-minute cure of deafness and blindness. A color-blind researcher also grazed it and said that she had a completely colored vision for 35 minutes.
Addendum 36-1 Throughout the day it prefers using its humanoid form and at night, its normal sphere form.
Discovery: SCP-5164 was discovered deep underground in a caved-in mine in a large opening The foundation was called after a reported attack on miners in said cave. SCP-5164 was found sitting inside the cave at the point we entered.. It was morphed into a humanoid. figure with large hands efficient for digging. After noticing agents coming into the opening with guns drawn it morphed into its sphere form. It spoke to all agents in a panicked manner asking where they came from. After answering that they came through the hole. It slowly rolled towards them and asked to finally be out of this cave. Agents called for a movement team. After rolling outside, it morphed into its humanoid form but this time without the claws, and it thanked them and said it would wait for that transport team they called for. It was transferred to the site codenamed ███.
Subjects: SCP-5164, D-6464
Procedure: A D-6464 is afflicted by deafness and blindness would touch SCP-5164 and then attempt to have a conversation with Dr. █████.
Results: The test proved successful and both were completely cured even after contact with SCP-5164 was discontinued. Although the effects slowly faded over the course of 30 minutes.
Analysis: SCP-5164 is a possible candidate with speaking to humanoid SCPs affected with blindness and deafness.
Subject: SCP-5164, D-6464
Procedure: D-6464 was put to temporarily be moved to the holding cell of SCP-5164. Every 25 minutes D-6464 was to make physical contact with SCP-5164 for a total of 100 times. During the time D-6464 is asleep, SCP-5164 was to make physical contact with D-6464. A watch was given to SCP-5164 to ensure correct timing. Note: D-6464 has no criminal record or violent history. Normally this would not put her in out possession but circumstances were given to us that let us use her for experiments to allow her to see and hear again.
Results: D-6464 was completely cured of their Deafness and Blindness. Afterward, D-6464 gave SCP-5164 a hug and profusely thanked it.
Analysis: SCP-5164 is a good candidate for certain people for curing their blindness and deafness permanently as well as temporarily. D-6464 has requested that she be able to visit SCP-5164 "once in a while." The request was granted under the condition that some form of testing will always be done in this instance. SCP-5164 has been slowly teaching D-6464 how to speak properly as if her previous conditions were never there. Her depression has also faded away. D-6464 is pending the request of visits to be for visiting. The request is pending under the discussion of the mental health of D-6464 and per the compliance of SCP-5164.

Foreword: The interview took place a month after Test-A. The interview takes place inside SCP-5164's containment room. 5164 is in its humanoid form during the interview.

Dr. █████: Hello 5164, how are you today?
SCP-5164: I feel good today. Why I haven't seen you since Test-A. How is that girl anyway? The effect I give is temporary and slowly returning to deafness and darkness can't be easy on anyone.
Dr. █████: She is on suicide watch. She said seeing and hearing for the first time and then it fading away made her feel completely insignificant and worthless.SCP-5164: That is very saddening. If you would allow she can return to me every 25 minutes or so to gain the ability permanently. I've never done it but she is someone that it can be done on.
Dr. █████: Are you saying the effect can be permanent?SCP-5164: Yes but it is a 50/50 chance. Humans will either end up permanently being cured or become immune to my effects entirely. It depends on a single factor.
Dr. █████: And what is that factor?SCP-5164: I would not like to share that factor. I know it. She will become cured. It takes a total of 100 times. And I don't sleep. She could sleep and if I had a watch I could keep track of the timing. I would like to request a watch if your superiors would be willing.
Dr. █████:(A observer of the interview says something in Dr. █████'s earpiece) I need you to tell me what that factor is.SCP-5164: It isn't that I won't tell you, it is that I can't. It's impossible to explain the equation requires a very specific type of person. I know the equation. And the factor lines up with her.
Dr. █████: Try us. Can you write out the equation?SCP-5164: It would take me a few years of doing so non-stop without resting my form and either way, it does not contain anything a human could understand even with my "properties" as you so put it.
Dr. █████: Are you extraterrestrial? Are made by some sort of religious figure?SCP-5164: In a sense to your questions, probably yes, to both.
Dr. █████: Perhaps?SCP-5164: From what I remember I do not come from this planet, universe, or dimension.
Dr. █████: How old are you?SCP-5164: I never kept count.
Dr. █████: How much do you remember about where you came from?SCP-5164: I remember hurling around outside this universe past the speed of light until entering it. It felt odd. Hurling. Hurling for an infinite amount of time. I remember I put myself in a state of unconsciousness. When I landed on earth I woke up in that cave. I spoke to ancient people, without technology. I just waited in that cave and it was converted to a mine for a while until some miners found me. Scared them off as they were trying to shoot me I didn't know how to react to them. They didn't even give me time to speak. I think that's what brought you guys to me.
Dr. █████: I believe this interview was successful. I will speak to a higher-up about your request.SCP-5164: Thank you for your understanding.
