Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained inside a standard safe storage locker at Site-233. Testing of SCP-XXXX is permitted to Foundation personnel holding level 2 clearance or higher and approval of Site-233's director. All researchers testing SCP-XXXX must be accompanied by a fire team while inside of SCP-XXXX-1. All personnel involved with the testing of SCP-XXXX must use a CC-SCBA unit with loop configuration. Explorations of SCP-XXXX-1 are limited to 3 hours.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an IDDO Hand Auger kit used for drilling ice cores of 101 mm in diameter. SCP-XXXX can drill, unassisted, a maximum depth of 20 meters. SCP-XXXX weighs approximately 41 kilograms. SCP-XXXX has 2 configurations of core depth, 1/2 and 1 meter.
Holes drilled by SCP-XXXX in its 1 meter configuration on the Antarctic Continent are 2 meters in depth, with the walls becoming soil 1 meter down. The bottom of the hole opens to a coniferous rainforest designated SCP-XXXX-1. Atmospheric CO2 levels are 1,680 ppm, causing drowsiness and difficulty breathing. SCP-XXXX-1 is inhabited by multiple dinosaur genera including Imperobator, Antarctopelta, Trinisaura, and Morrosaurus. Based on identified flora and fauna, SCP-XXXX-1 exists in the Late-Cretaceous Epoch.

Director's Note: From here on out, I will not be allowing tests of SCP-XXXX. I'm not risking time travel to pre-history without explicit need. We got lucky an asteroid covered our asses. Unless there is anything in SCP-XXXX-1 that can help us learn about SCP-XXXX there is no need to explore it.
