Special Containment Procedure: SCP-#### is kept in a Poly(methyl methacrylate) tank which can hold approximately 10000 ml of water. The tank has been modified to need a level 4 security card to open. SCP-####’s containment flask is stored in a standard containment locker, although it has been adjusted to fit a full spectrum artificial light source that is powered on 10 hours every day.
SCP-#### is not to have contact with any water outside of containment nor any plumbing/sewer systems or risk a world ending event. MTF Squadron “Oceanus” is designated to quarantine the spread of SCP-####.
Description: SCP-#### is an unidentified species of brine shrimp. Each specimen of SCP-#### is approx. 4mm in length, and the smallest ones can be approx. 1mm in length. SCP-#### sustains off of photosynthesis, and can live with only sunlight for 5 days, before dying of natural causes.
SCP-#### can lay eggs at a rate of 53 every second, and has a gestation period and growth period of 1982 milliseconds seconds. SCP-####’s eggs do not need to be inseminated, although each egg requires 0.003 ml of water. SCP-#### tries to reproduce as fast as possible, producing as much as eggs as it can in it's 5 day life span. A single instance of SCP-##### can produce more than 22 million eggs in it’s lifespan, and will use more then 68,000 ml of water. All water SCP-#### comes into contact with will most likely be replaced entirely with instances of SCP-####.
In the event of no water, SCP-#### will attempt to burrow inside the nearest surface.
TEST A: 3.6.12
Procedure: 10 instances of SCP-#### is placed in a 1000 liter tank, made of Poly(methyl methacrylate). The tank was filled with 50 liters of neutral ph water.
Results 16 million instances of SCP-#### were created. All water inside of the tank was replaced with instances of SCP-#### in 10 minutes.
TEST B: 4.7.12
Procedure: D-class is to come into contact with SCP-####. Both subject and SCP-#### are not to leave the room. The room is to be airsealed and no liquid in the room is permitted inside the room.
Results D-class contacted SCP-####. Multiple instances then boroughed inside of the subject to locate water to lay eggs. D-class deamed deceased by medical staff 6 minutes after contact. An autopsy was performed by protected medical staff in test site. Estimated 5 million instances of found inside of D-class. Flamethrower unit eliminated all instances and room was deemed safe.
Analysis: SCP-#### is a strong threat to the human body. If contact is made, all moisture is removed from the body and replaced with instances of SCP-####.
