- The Doomed Logs of Benjamin Kastor
Every week, a red notebook appears on Researcher Kastor's desk. In every iteration, the first entry talks about how he have a new notebook, as well as be starting a new project with a newly discovered anomaly. The number of entries varies, but always involves progress being made with the aforementioned project. The project is always mentioned directly or implicatively as involving an anomaly, some of which are not yet known to the Foundation. The last entry always gives the impression that something horrible has happened, never directly states what happened ("I hath become death," "what have I done?" "I am a God"). Kastor is considered a POI.
A Caucasian male named Andrew Manson. Every cell in his body is actually a smaller version of himself, and operate through unknown means. Blood cells take the form of doctors wearing surgery masks, brain cells are wearing lab coats, kidneys are dressed like garbagemen. Andrew is incredibly narcissistic.
- Windchimes aren't real, silly
A phenomenon in which all members of the GOC are unable to understand the concept of wind chimes. As the concept of wind chimes does not exist to them, the sound of wind chimes instead is perceived by them to be anomalous, as they believe that the sound being generated is not normal for bars slightly clinking together. If a person officially leaves the GOC, they are able to learn the concept of a wind chime. Re-entry in the GOC reverses the process. If the person leaves the GOC a second time, they are Phenomenon was initially discovered following GOC contact requesting Foundation help in destruction of increased cases of similar anomalies. Following subsequent interviews, the anomalous properties were discovered. The GOC, believing the Foundation to be under cognitohazardous effect, deemed them unable to assist them. A follow-up note indicates that the anomaly was changed to a higher clearance because it could be used as a tool to discover GOC double-agents. GOC double-agents are catalogued but not interfered with due to the GOC possibly catching wind of it. The article would end with a note saying something along the lines of "should the destroyers of unknown not know music when they heard it, they would set fire to art then and there." The message would be signed "The Singers," which would subsequently be labeled a GOI.
Concept: An area (Maybe the inside of a house? Or maybe in the inside of a house?)/one (two) objects(statues of humans? Dressed in roman garbs? Maybe Greek columns?. Makes radio signals. Tuning to one plays a cover of a song, but only half of the instruments play. Only half of the lyrics are sung by a male voice. On the other frequency the unplaying instruments are played and the Other half of the lyrics are sung by a female voice. Every song played is a song about love, harmony, music, or encouragement.
On the day the album for Dear Wormwood was released, the SCP played the song "Bitter Water" with changed lyrics about the muses cursing them to be apart, how they were less than a step away, and that through a strong foundation they have been able to see each other again. Lyrics have never been changed before or since, nor have the two SCP's ever harmonized.
Special Containment Procedures: Site-[number] has been designated to study SCP-XXXX. Two are to be tuned to [1st frequency] and [2nd frequency] in order to record any variations to lyrics or song choice. Due to the high population and likelihood of SCP-XXXX to not be realized as an anomaly, the area affected by the anomaly has instead been designated a radio silence zone to the main public.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to two broadcasts affecting an area of approximately 500 sq meters in
[town and city, maybe Pollensbee].
SCP-XXXX-A is a broadcast set to a frequency of [Frequency 1], and almost constantly (SCP-XXXX-A does not play music during certain parts of a song with 1 instrument) plays the cover to a song. Lyrics are always sung by the same masculine voice, regardless of who sung the original song. Only half of the song lyrics are sung by SCP-XXXX-A. A number the instruments from the original song are always missing. In the case of only one instrument being in the original song, the instrument plays random parts of the song, totaling approximately half of its total length.
The song played by SCP-XXXX-B always involves themes of either harmony, love, ancient Greece, or music, and is always sung in English.
SCP-XXXX-B is a second broadcast set to a frequency of [Frequency 2]. SCP-XXXX-B plays the unplayed parts of the songs not played by SCP-XXXX-A. Songs played by SCP-XXXX-B are always sung by the same feminine voice.
SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B was first discovered by Dr. Spencers on [date] during a camping trip. While initially considered the
Addendum
Concept: Dr. Spencers turns into a book. Frantically writes how he is stuck. Can be talked to, but isn't very comprehensive. At some point, he seems to talk to Fred, despite Fred not being there, and Fred later claiming no involvement.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a sentient inanimate object containment cell located within Site-(I don't know, some site that has humans. Maybe the one that has that Rubik's cube dad?). Following Incident-1, cross testing with literary anomalies has been approved. Information on the entity "the Writer" (or "bLUE." Or "the Eight Muse." Or "Paulie." Maybe make it a GOI b/c other writers mentioned maybe?) is considered a top priority.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 300-page book, titled "The Saga of Dr. Spencers." SCP-XXXX appears to contain copy of (or mimic) the personality of Dr. Spencers, a level-3 researcher in pataphysical anomalies currently employed at Site (same site they found it). The first page of SCP-XXXX shows the title. The second reads the words "To those who thought that life was meaningless."
With the exception of the first two pages, the book is subject to random alterations in text. The way in which the text changes appears to be random; text will fade out with replacement words fading in, letters will move across the page to form new phrases, and letters appear one at a time in order. Text is also deleted at a similar rate. No page has been written on until all other previous pages have text on them. While the amount of text in the book varies, the page number has never exceeded 75, and has never been below 4.
The text takes the form of what is apparently the inner thought process of Dr. Spencers experiencing being trapped inside a book. Text appears to be written in a frightened and panicked manner.
Example of text:
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered 11/12/2016 by Dr. Cinders in the office Dr. Spencers, who was offsite at time of discovery. Dr. Cinders walked into the office, and assuming the book to be a rough draft of an autobiography, opened it, and immediately notified onsite personnel of it's anomalous properties. Dr. Spencers was declared a POI shortly after.
Addendum: Testing with Dr. Spencers'
On 3/7/2017, Dr. Spencers was introduced to SCP-XXXX in its testing chamber. Upon entering the room, SCP-XXXX opened itself and removed all variable text. I
Item#: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: The 4 remaining instances of SCP-XXXX in Foundation custody are to be stored in the high-value objects wing of site XX, with access restricted to Level 4 or higher personnel. Research is to be conducted regarding the specific properties of the anomaly on GOC operatives, as well as possible origins to the anomaly.
All personnel are to be encouraged to admit whether they have ever been a part of the GOC. Personnel who are confirmed to have a history with the GOC are to not be allowed access to SCP-XXXX or information regarding SCP-XXXX. Any personnel affected by SCP-XXXX who are not confirmed to have been employed by the GOC are to be interrogated and amnesticized.
Description: Each instance of SCP-XXXX is a wind chime which causes a selective cognitohazardous effect on current or past members of the Global Occult Coalition. Said effect causes GOC members who see an instance of SCP-XXXX to temporarily forget the concept of wind chimes; the definition of a wind chime, that being pieces of material hung to collide with each other and make sound when exposed to wind, is understood by affect subjects, but cannot be applied to pictures or drawings of wind chimes. This effect remains up to 3 hours after initial exposure, and can be repeated upon additional viewings.
Instances of SCP-XXXX immediately lose all anomalous properties upon destruction, but the anomalous effects can still remain after up to 3 hours. There have been 131 confirmed instances of SCP-XXXX, all discovered between 2008 and 2016, 127 of which had been neutralized by GOC agents upon discovery. It is unknown if SCP-XXXX affects previously non-anomalous wind chimes, or if instances of SCP-XXXX are wind chimes created with anomalous effects.
Due to the inability to fully understand the nature of a wind chime, as well as subjects' knowledge of the existence of anomalies, they will deem any and all wind chimes, including SCP-XXXX, to be anomalous in nature. GOC members who have been amnesticized to forget the existence of the GOC and anomalies will refer to wind chimes as "weird," but not anomalous. As the GOC destroys anomalies rather than contain them, affected subjects who are still current members of the GOC will attempt to destroy any wind chime, but will not put themselves in unreasonable danger to do so. SCP-XXXX appears to not mentally affect affected subjects in any other way than the temporary removal of the concept of wind chimes.
Currently, SCP-XXXX is believed to be created by AWCY?, as it appears to have been created under the guise of demonstrating that the GOC will destroy something not fully understood, rather than only confirmed anomalous. The usual rebuttal note issued alongside anomalies made by AWCY? has not been discovered, presumably because the note was possibly issued to the GOC, rather than the SCP Foundation, as the possible message made by the anomaly seems to be directed at the Coalition
SCP-XXXX could be easily used as a way to find double agents in the Foundation. The problem lies in that a traitor who finds information on the anomaly could pass it on to the Coalition, and then they'll know exactly how to counteract it. One breach of information, and this entire system goes down in flames. The wind chimes are a secret. Keep them that way.

Item #: SCP-12250
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-12250 as well as all 4 instances of SCP-12250-1 are to be contained in the low level containment wing at Site-17. Testing is approved for Level 4 personnel or higher.
Description: SCP-12250 is a pair of Playskool kaleidoscope binoculars, modified with the addition of two slots at the top of the frame, apparently made for the insertion of SCP-12250-1. SCP-12250-1 are four square pieces of an unknown translucent material, appearing similar in composition to stained glass. Two of the pieces are red, the other two being blue.
SCP-12250's anomalous properties are apparent when any SCP-12250-1 instances are placed into both slots. Both slots require an instance of SCP-12250-1 to activate the anomaly. During this time, any viewers using SCP-12250 will see a cyclical event played. The event in question depends on the color of the SCP-12250-1 inserted into SCP-12250.
