Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should have no less than 3 guards stationed at each entrance of the building at all times. Guards must be replaced on a weekly basis or until SCP-XXXX's effects are prominent. All guards stationed at SCP-XXXX are to be tested for common mental illnesses after their residency at the building. Any non-foundation personnel are to be escorted off premises, to prevent exposure to SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a generic assisted learning classroom of a now abandoned primary school in ██████, Germany.
Although no effects occur instantaneously, affected personnel in and around the surrounding area of SCP-XXXX exhibit signs of mental regression after approximately 7-9 days. Those affected by SCP-XXXX show signs of developing; high and low-functioning autism, Downs syndrome, fetal-alcohol syndrome, behavioral difficulties/disorders and Intellectual disability. Personnel showing obvious signs of mental retardation are classified as SCP-XXXX-1 until effects fade. Prolonged exposure to the anomaly amplifies its effects and can become permanent. If SCP-XXXX-1 shows no signs of recovery after 2-3 weeks they are classified as SCP-XXXX-2-X. There are currently 8 instances of SCP-XXXX-2.
While tested, other sentient life forms, including SCP's, have inconclusive results.
Test XXXX-A - 3/21/19██
Subject: D-94617
Procedure: D-94617 lived inside of SCP-XXXX's room for 10 days.
Results: Showed signs of low-functioning autism and behavioral difficulties when interacting with personnel. (Perpetual, disposed at the end of the month)
Analysis: Direct vicinity of SCP-XXXX causes amplified results.
Test XXXX-B - 4/13/19██
Subject: D-81648
Procedure: D-81648 lived in one of the surrounding rooms of SCP-XXXX for 2 weeks.
Results: Showed signs of high-functioning autism when interacting with personnel. (Recovered, disposed at the end of the month)
Analysis: Subjects farther away from SCP-XXXX's room show lesser effects.
Test XXXX-C-1 - 6/03/19██
Subject: Group of 14 D-class from Site-██ with varying mental stability and some received previous brain trauma from past tests.
Procedure: All D-class resided within the room of SCP-XXXX. Stationed there for one week.
Results: D-class with brain damage or a mental illness like psychosis showed less digression than other D-Class with healthy brains. Only 2 D-class with recovered and were sent back to Site-██.
Analysis: Those with previous mental or physical illness of the brain experience lesser symptoms.
