Special Containment Procedures: A 3km area surrounding SCP-XXXX is to be designated private property, owned by a Mr. ███████, renowned oil tycoon. To prevent suspicion, a fake drilling rig is to be placed in the center of the 3km private zone. This drilling rig will have a bi-monthly psychology screening for psychosis and paranoia. Authorization to dive to depths exceeding 1500m is required from level 2 personnel or greater.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a cylindrical memetic field approximately 1km in diameter, and 700m in height. The field begins roughly 2500m beneath the ocean surface. After human subjects have spent approximately more than 10 minutes inside the memetic field, the anomalous effect begins to take hold. Subjects start to express a desire to stay inside SCP-XXXX, followed by a fear of leaving. After another 10 minutes, subjects will begin trying to leave the submersible. When the subject eventually breaks out of the submersible, the oceanic pressure kills them almost immediately. D-Class testing shows that roughly 2 percent of all human subjects are immune to the memetic properties of SCP-XXXX.

Foreword: D-2794 is a test subject who was immune to the cognito hazardous effects of SCP-XXXX, and claimed that the foundation was wrong in its assumption that SCP-XXXX was a memetic field.

D-2794: Like I said before, I was sent down in this tiny sub and was told to report what I saw. I start hearing this voice off in the distance. It sounded like a lady, y'know?
Dr. ████: This voice sounded female?
D-2794: Yeah, weird right? Anyways, she told me to come outside, the water was "Nice and warm" and such like that. Of course I decided not to, because fuck that. She started to sound frustrated, sumpim' about how I "Dont want to be free" or some shit.Dr. ████: Interesting. Afterwards, you claim the sub was… [Papers shuffling] Attacked?
D-2794 Exactly! One minute this lady is yellin' at me to come outside, next minute the whole ship is turned upside down! When I finally catch myself, I look out the window and see a mouth full of teeth charging the sub!
Dr. ████: We've overlooked the submersible, there appears to be no outwards damage. Is it possible you were simply caught in a current?
D-2794 A current? Water don't have teeth! If I was sucked into a current then what the hell was trying so hard to get me out there with it?!
Dr. ████: Calm down. How long did you say you were down there for?
D-2794 Don't change the subject! Tell me doc, what is it that's really down there?!
[MTF remove D-2794 from the interview room]
Dr. ████: Captain? Please do another damage report on the sub. I pray to God we find nothing again.
