SCP-XXXX

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept in a sealed glass case, no fewer than 5 centimetres (2 inches) thick. It must be locked in a standard 5x5x5 room with a wooden maple table to rest on. No source of electricity must reach SCP-XXXX, with the exception of testing. No personnel are to turn on and insert a game in SCP-XXXX. No attempt must be made to detach SCP-XXXX-X from SCP-XXXX or even dismantle SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX must not come in contact with any liquid substances at any time.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard 1 megabyte 1994 PS1 that comes attached with a vintage 12-inch SAMSUNG television set (SCP-XXXX-X). SCP-XXXX seems to be joint to SCP-XXXX-X and is impossible if not extremely difficult to detach SCP-XXXX from SCP-XXXX-X.

If a subject inserts any PS1 game in SCP-XXXX, a bright dark green light will start to emerge from the disc compartment in SCP-XXXX. Seconds later the entity will start to shake uncontrollably, and the subject that inserted the disc will start to █████████ for a duration of 30 seconds. After this process, SCP-XXXX stops shaking and SCP-XXXX-X turns on. The subject will then appear on the screen of SCP-XXXX-X as the main character of the chosen game.

The subject will be able to move around and try to beat the game but they only have 1 life, if successful the subject will be teleported back. If not the subject will perish in the game and will not be teleported back, not even his body.

Addendum #01: SCP-XXXX was retrieved from a garage sale in █/██/████ where agent █████ bought SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-X and a dozen of games. At 19:12 agent █████ inserted crash bandicoot in SCP-XXXX, seconds later he was █████████ in the game. It is thought he fell to his death at a large dip at the start of the game.

Mr.████ [oh! The PLAY STATION? I found that thing dumped in my garbage bin. I have no idea how it got there, I'm guessing some teenager threw it in there along with a TV and a bunch of games]

Interviewer [What was the date that day? Do you remember?]

Mr.████ [I think it was in July the ██ around there and the year ████ something like that]

Interviewer [Did you activate and play any games on SCP-XXXX?]

Mr.████ [No, I have no idea how those things work. But I thought it be cool to just have it laying around in my house]

Interviewer [Why did you sell SCP-XXXX?]

Mr.████ [I didn't, my son did. He thought it was worth a lot of money. I guess he was wrong]
