Containment: SCP-#### is to be kept in a sound-proof room with 1-meter-thick walls backed by acoustical sealant at all times. SCP-#### is to be under constant video surveillance. The door to the room must always be shut and no Personnel is to enter under any circumstances. If any personnel are to come in visual, auditory or physical contact with SCP-####, must be given psychiatric help immediately.
Description: SCP-#### is an ordinary, yellow, vintage telephone with a rotary dial and plug cord. The telephone constantly rings whether it is plugged in or not and when the ringing is heard the subject grows a strong desire to answer the phone, believing that the caller is in danger and needs help immediately. When SCP-#### is answered the subject starts showing signs of extreme paranoia, depression, fear and horror after which the subject proceeds to mutilate themselves with their bare hands until death. If the subject is restrained, the symptoms grow until the subject dies of symptoms of extremely high blood pressure or heart failure. What SCP-#### tells the subjects is still unknown as there have been no survivors. Personnel who have heard the ringing and have been restrained from answering SCP-####, have reported auditory and visual hallucinations of SCP-#### and were able to describe its appearance even if they have never seen SCP-####.
History: SCP-#### was discovered at the home of Mr.████████ in Izhevsk, Russia, April 20th 19██. After a 112 call, police showed up to the house to find Mr.████████ and his family with torn chest cavities and some family members with no eyes. SCP-#### was contained after the death of all the police officers on site.
