Special Containment Procedures:
A 100 x 50 x 200 km facility known as site-145 with ten meter thick concrete wall reinforced with a 2 meter iron frame is to be built around SCP-4822. The building must be a single armed cognitohazard containment cell. Electric barbed wire fencing is to be built around the site, preventing D-Class personnel from bail.
A sprinkling system is to be installed to shower water every 12 hours on the roof of the facility, humidity is to be set to 87.3453%. Area is also to have little to no luminosity and temperature is to be set to 40°C to prevent “irritation” of SCP-4822.
A building is to be constructed inside SCP-4822 for shelter
of D-class personnel, constructed of standard housing material. This confined area is to be monitored once a week for 24 hours.
100 personnel are to explore SCP-4822, consisting of 90 D-Class personnel along with 10 MTF members for escort from MTF-Eta-10 (See No Evil). All personnel within the anomaly are to obtain a fully loaded AK-47 assault rifle with 10 rounds with a thermal sight scope attachment and an extended magazine, a flashlight with at least 16 hour battery life, a radio signal communication device enough to communicate through 10 kilometers, a rope attached 6000 meters in length, a heart rate monitor, a global positioning system lasting about 10 hours, and a camera for recording purposes that will be fully functional for 12 hours along with as many additional batteries as possible.
Clothes worn by personnel must be so that it isolates their head from the exterior. It is also advised that personnel bring rationed food and water for the duration of exploration and research of SCP-4822.
Should D-Class personnel be deceased/severely injured in the process of exploration, they are to be replaced within the next 6 hours.
To prevent D-Class personnel from bailing the facility, 20 MTF-Eta members are to be stationed outside of the containment and are to detain and interrogate all personnel escaping. D-Class personnel are to send the recorded video footage to field personnel and the o5 council for further research.
Description:
SCP-4822 is a contained forested area located in ███████, Alberta, Canada. Area seems to span around 100 x 50 square kilometers. Physically, it appears to be a typical forest. The trees have the standard height and color along with the rest of tree species. No known life forms live in the area. Bodies of water are visible in the enclosure. Such display symbols of unknown origin. Research shows they were made by an ancient tribe of unknown origin of people trying to worship an unknown god or divine entity.
The anomaly manifests if entered by any human, the human would experience cognito hazardous effects 5 minutes among entering via sight. Anomaly also manifests via video footage. Personnel have reported to hallucinate being encapsulated by an area consisting of the color green completely covering the enclosure. Personnel were not able to see other colors besides a “greenish” tint.
SCP-4822 seems to have a “voice” saying that it is lonely and will be irritated until 100 personnel enter its enclosure. Such cannot be heard my mechanical recording devices. When insufficient members are in SCP-4822, SCP-4822 will attempt to harm personnel, causing severe headache and internal bleeding.
Video footage of an exploration showed an anomalous entity now designated SCP-XXX-1 manifest in the enclosure. SCP-4822-1 are predatory, 6 limbed entities that have infrared vision, and lure prey through screams of various mammals. SCP-4822-1 are 4 meters in height. They attack prey by shooting their projectile-like fangs 70. centimeters in length into the flesh of prey. Fangs travel at about 11 m/s. Projectiles can sink 5 centimeters into the flesh of victims due to the velocity. Projectiles are usually lethal, as venom of unknown organic composition from projectiles spread within 10 minutes of exposure in victim. Reason why SCP-4822-1 can physically harm victims though a cognitohazard is unknown, and is yet to be researched.
Epidermis of SCP-4822-1 are about 3 inches thick, as they are hard to penetrate. SCP-4822-1 do not eat, sleep, or rest as they seem to not need a source of energy. SCP-4822-1 do not have many internal organs besides a heart,stomach and lungs. SCP-4822-1 have eye sockets that emit a glow of a bluish tint, reason is yet to be known. SCP-4822-1 have three layers of teeth. Stomach acid in SCP-4822-1 completely corrode victims, producing no waste from victims as feces.
