Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: To prevent any civilian entrances, SCP-XXXX must be surrounded by an electrical fence and have at least 2 guards present at all times, any civilian that comes within proximity of SCP-XXXX is to be informed that the Hotel is going under maintenance for an undisclosed amount of time.

Description: SCP-XXXX is approximately 4 kilometers in length, 2 kilometers in width, and 100 meters in height, this anomaly is located in the Bahamas and is labeled “The Bahama Wonders Hotel”, the anomaly appears as a hotel, when the subject enters the Hotel they will be greeted by a man behind the desk, designated SCP-XXXX-1, he will be wearing formal attire, he will ask if the subject wishes to rent a room, if the subject says they are not they will be thrown out of the building from a strong force of wind, if the subject says they are looking for a room SCP-XXXX-2 will bring them to a random hallway, regardless if it is full or not, each hallway contains 40 doors leading to a room, these rooms are designated SCP-XXXX-2, for more information, read Addendum 1/332/CAI.

Inside of SCP-XXXX is a Dining Room, in it the subject will find a buffet and a beverage table, the drinks contain traces of many different types of wines, a few drops of citrus, and a currently unknown substance, the beverages induce immediate amnesia into the subject, the amount of time the subject forgets is all chance, you can forget only the last hour, or the last two years.

Addendum 1/332/CAI:

If the room's number is even, the room will be made of different colored rubbers, each step taken will make the subject comfortable, they will feel a sense of nostalgia, falling asleep will lead to supposedly the best dream they have ever had.

If he brings the subject to an uneven numbered room, the room number will be flipped upside down, when the subject enters the room it will be normal, when they fall asleep they will have a nightmare, there are two possible events that can happen from here.

If the subject wakes up from the nightmare they will feel a strong urge to open the door, they must fight this urge because upon touching the door handle they will feel very cold and then stop breathing, almost as if their lungs have been frozen, after 43.4 seconds the subject will die of hypoxia, the only way to avoid this is to lay down until the sun rises.

If the subject stays asleep then they will be safe, when they wake up in the morning the subject will feel as if they can’t leave the hotel, not because a door is locked, but because they want to stay, if they leave then they will get dreams of the hotel every night, if they stay then they will continue to have nightmares until they eventually wake up and attempt to open the door.

Addendum 2/436/WIL:
Incident 01/04/1998

During an investigation of SCP-XXXX it was discovered that there were 79 people already living in the Hotel, each were taken in for questioning, 15 out of 79 were found dead due to hypoxia, the bodies were disposed of and the families were notified, 60 out of 79 forgot what had happened while 4 out of 79 people remembered their experience, because they ordered take-out food, they provided a information on what they were doing at the Hotel, when they got there, and if they were there before, they may have provided more but while they were being interviewed SCP-XXXX-1 manifested in all the interview rooms, he alerted the 4 interviewed that they needed to sign out of their rooms before they could leave, and then grabbed their arms and pulled them away, when chased, the subjects and SCP-XXXX-1 had vanished, when Mobile Task Force Zeta-9 “Mole Rats” was dispatched to the Hotel to search for them they found them lying in the lobby looking at some magazines, when brought back in for questioning they remembered nothing, not even the interview they just had.

Addendum 3/569/EST:

INTERVIEW LOG

Interviewed: DATA REDACTED

Interviewer: Researcher. ██████

Foreword: The following interview was conducted to find out more about the "Bahama Wonders" anomaly, there are 3 more interviews that are being conducted in other rooms.

<Begin Log>

Researcher. ██████: Hello, I am Researcher. ██████, can you tell me a bit about why you went to the Bahama Wonders Hotel?

DATA REDACTED: I went on a business trip, I wanted to stay at a different Hotel but the company already paid for the rooms.

Researcher. ██████: So, there were other people with you then?

DATA REDACTED: Yeah, but I don't know what happened to them, I didn't see them get on the bus.

Researcher. ██████: They are fine I assure you, they were more than likely on a different bus. Anyways, how long have you been at the Hotel?

DATA REDACTED: I have only been there for 2 days so far.

Researcher. ██████: What have you been eating while you were there?

DATA REDACTED: The usual, burgers and pizza.

Researcher. ██████: Do you have anyone that you can stay with for a few days?

DATA REDACTED: My family is at [DATA EXPUNGED], in Illinois, I don't see why they wouldn't let me stay at my own house.

*A knock was heard at the door, and then the door opens.*

SCP-XXXX-1: I hope I am not disturbing anything, but Mister. ██████, you forgot to sign out of your room, please come with me.

Researcher. ██████: Who are you? Guards, get him out of here.

SCP-XXXX-1: I will be needing that recorder as well.

*SCP-XXXX-1 reaches for the recorder and then gets his hand slashed by the Researcher's pocket knife.*

SCP-XXXX-1: Well then, I suppose you can keep it for the time being.

*SCP-XXXX-1 grabs the subject by the arm and carries him out of the room.*

<End Log>

Closing Statement: When the subject and SCP-XXXX-1 was chased, they had disappeared.

TEST LOG

Test A - 4/21/2001

Subjects:D-3255 and D-7317

Procedure: D-3255 and D-7317 were sent to the Hotel, D-3255 was told to not eat or drink anything at the Hotel, and was told to ask if he could have a room on the second floor, and D-7317 was told they could eat and drink anything at there, and was told to ask if she could have a room on the fifth floor.

Results: When they asked about their floor specifications SCP-XXXX-1 said he would be taking them to whichever room he sees fit for them, after being taken to their rooms, they had an uneven numbered room, both D-Class had survived night one, at dinner D-7317 had some of the Dining Room food and had a beverage, D-3255 had food delivered to them, after a few more nights, they were both checked out of the Hotel, D-3255 was the only person interviewed on the account of D-7317 not even being able to remember that she was a D-Class.

Analysis: After this interview it was discovered how the food in the Dining Room was in fact Amnestic, and there is a chance SCP-XXXX-1 gives people that ask for specific rooms the cold rooms.
