Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXX is to be kept in a 3x5 meter wooden crate, kept away from any electrical outlets or sockets, as well as any wireless connections. Any containment of SCP-XXX should be clearly marked and labeled with proper identification in the circumstance that containment of SCP-XXX is moved. In the event of turning on SCP-XXX do not close any programs, or unplug SCP-XXX until the "series" is over.
Description:
SCP-XXX resembles a brandless, 1996 CPU with a CRT style monitor. Upon starting up SCP-XXX, it will act like a standard computer with a booting phase, leaving the only anomalous detail its unknown operating system. However, after booting, SCP-XXX will scan within a 2 kilometer radius for wireless devices after which, it will forcefully connect with them and broadcast a signal. This signal renders subjects unconscious and leaves them in a comatose state until the "series" is finished. Unplugging the computer while this process continues the renders the subjects brain dead. Re-plugging in SCP-XXX will merely restart the process and the subjects "consciousness'" are lost.

During the subjects' comatose period, their consciousness' are transported into a virtual world in which SCP-XXX is self-aware and plays the roles of "Producer" and "Screenwriter". The subjects are then assigned ranking "roles" that from lowest to highest include:

  • Miscellaneous Background Character
  • Special Guest
  • Reoccurring Guest
  • Minor Role
  • Reoccurring Character
  • Main Cast
  • Protagonist

Subjects can rank-up or down from these roles depending on their entertainment value, audience rating, and Producer Approval. The main roles, protagonist and main cast, are sent "scripts" to act out situations in durations known as "episodes". During this time
