Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX has no special contanment procedures but ideally there will be a circle around it on the floor(1metre in radius).
Description: SCP-XXXX is a kids pencil case designed with small images of dinosaurs, it contains: one graphite pencil, twelve coloured pencils(one for each colour on the colour wheel), one ballpoint pen, one ruler and one piece of A4 paper.
If anyone touches this pencil case they will take out the pencil or pen and start writing and drawing on the paper inside SCP-XXXX. Alternatively if somebody were to stay within a one metre radius of for about two minutes straight they would feel compelled towards the pencil case and would promptly touch it, resulting in them writing and drawing on the paper inside SCP-XXXX.
Once the subject has started writing they will only write and draw on the paper until they are done. Subjects will always write as if they are writing in a diary, putting the date at the top of the page, and addressing the main character of their 'story' as I. Additionally, they will always put the date as sometime after the real date and underneath the date will write: Today, I died. They then go on to explain how they 'died' and then go on to illustrate how they died using the coloured pencils and ruler.
Additional info has been gathered through an experiment:see experiment log for more info.
Experiment log:
One class-D person was sent into SCP-XXXX's room and touched SCP-XXXX, they immediately starting writing before other personnel were in to forcibly take the class-D personnel away from SCP-XXXX, they had written the date(one day after the experiment) and: Today, I died. Sure enough, they died the next day.
One month later, another class-D person was sent to SCP-XXXX, touched the pencil case and started writing but they weren't writing a new story, they were continuing the other person's story as they were the person had died a month previously. Once they had finished they disappeared and after checking some graveyards nearby found a grave saying he had died the day after the first experiment had occurred.
