Item #: SCP-6942
Object Class:Euclid Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6942 is to be kept
in a standard containment locker within Storage Wing-20 in Site-1█.
The locker is to be outfitted with a light bulb,
the lighting should always be following the daylight cycle in the town of ███████, Denmark.(see incident 6942-1) Each piece of SCP-6942 should be kept in a standard containment locker.(see Experiment-6942-6)
Only when doing experiments is anyone allowed to place all 5 pieces close together.
If any Class-D personnel sees it in it's active state they are to be terminated immediatly except if testing.
Any B-Class or higher exposed to SCP-6942 is to be transported to a
facility where A-Class amnestics can be applied.
If it is not possible to get a subject who have been exposed to SCP-6942 A-Class amnestics they should be terminated as soon as possible.
No security personnel is to be exposed to SCP-6942 under any circumstance and any that have been exposed are to be terminated by other security personnel immediatly.
Personnel with Level 3 or higher security clearance are authorized to perform tests on SCP-6942 after filling out the appropriate paperwork.
Only people with permission from an 05 is allowed to see security footage from Site-1█ on 4/15/2013(see Incident-6942-2)
All instances of SCP-6942-1 should be incinerated, except if a request is approved by personnel with level 4 security clearence or higher.
Any kept instances of SCP-6942-1 should be contained according to the Special Containment Procedures of SCP-6942
In a containment breach and the facility security personnel belive that it will escape out of the facility the destruction of the body, "arms", and "feet" is authorised, so to avoid a CK-class event.
If it will still escape or destruction of only the body, "arms", and "feet" is not possible, the site director or any 05 council member is allowed to authorise it.(see Experiment-6942-6)
Description: SCP-6942 a.k.a The block boy is a toy made of wooden blocks vaguely resembling a human being with white or silver hair.
It's clothes and face have been painted on.
The clothes are a white shirt and red coat.
It's body is 12.6 tall and 6.5 cm wide.
The head is 8 cm wide and 7.2 cm tall
SCP-6942 is with body and head 19.8 cm high
The wood it is made of is Scots pine(Pinus sylvestris)
When it is in its active state it's clothes have been soaked in human blood,
and blood runs from the eyes and mouth.
This have been described by subjects as terrifying and anyone seeing SCP-6942 or SCP-6942-1 in their active states will go insane.
It reattaches any body parts cut off,(see Experiment-6942-2)
though it does not regrow any piece of wood chopped off.(see Experiment-6942-4)
If piece of wood is damaged and a piece of wood, the same size as before it was damaged, is introduced it will replace the damaged with the new piece.
The piece detached by SCP-6942 will not be anomalous.
SCP-6942 has dissociative identity disorder, one(from now on referred to as SCP-6942-2) has nyctophobia, and when it is in Distress, the other personality(from now on referred to as SCP-6942-3) takes the control of SCP-6942's body.
Addendum 6942-1:
SCP-6942 was recovered from a house in the town ███████, Denmark.
When a murder had happened in the house where a boy who had just bought SCP-6942 on a flea market in ██████, Denmark.
A police man had been in the room when the lights went out and the man died.
SCP-6942 was sitting in the lap of the man with little to no blood on it.
Shortly after this Agent Beck contained it.
incident-6942-1
On 1/16/2010 12:30 SCP-6942 breached containment, walking the site asking "What did i do wrong?".
It was quickly lead into an cell where it would be interviewed by Researcher Greenhill.
Interview log-6942-1:
Interviewed: SCP-6942
Interviewer: Researcher Greenhill
Foreword: Note that he was not in an active state when being interviewed.
<Begin Log, [12:45]>
SCP-6942: What did i do wrong?
Researcher Greenhill: Nothing, i think. Can you please tell me why did you breach containment.SCP-6942: You locked me up, that's unfair.
Researcher Greenhill: Ok.. How did you know we put you in containment.
SCP-6942: Well, the light was different, it isn't always dark or light but a balance. That is > how the real world works, atleast outside of a prison cell.
Researcher Greenhill: Why are you killing people, when it's dark?
SCP-6942: I didn't do it, he did it!
Researcher Greenhill: Please tell me who he is?
SCP-6942: (SCP-6942's voice was described after the interview: "Like it was fulll of fear.") > He is the one taking control of my body, my only wish is to get rid of him, please help me.
(SCP-6942 begins crying)Researcher Greenhill Can you stop it from taking control?
SCP-6942 No, he takes me when i'm scared or sad or angry.
Researcher Greenhill So you could say it takes control of you when your in distress?
SCP-6942 You could say it like that,(pause) you know your not that bad, want to know a
secret?Researcher Greenhill Yes, what is it?
SCP-6942 (Much deeper voice) He's scared of the dark,(SCP-6942 slowly takes his head
out of his hands, revealing a smiling SCP-6942 in it's active state) and you should be scared of
me.Researcher Greenhill This interview is over, goodbye.
Researcher Greenhill then came rushing out of the cell.<End Log, [13:00]>
Closing Statement: ["Request to get SCP-6942 a psycologist to help him."]
After this Researcher Greenhill was given amnestics.
"Request denied." - 05-█
Experiment-6942-1
Performed on 3/4/2013
Experiment peformed by:Researcher Greenhill
The Experiment was conducted for testing the capabilities of SCP-6942.
The experiment went as follows:
SCP 6942 was placed on one side of a body of water, on the other side was a D-class personnel sitting in a chair.
The whole experiment was conducted in a standard containment cell.
The light was then shut off for a second.
When the light came back on SCP-6942 was sitting on the lap of the D-96845, while D-96845 had been mauled with most of his neck gone, an eye missing and [Data Expunged]
Note: "This would only be possible if SCP-6942 was going over 62 km/h" - Researcher Greenhill
Experiment-6942-2
Performed on 4/9/2013
Experiment peformed by:Junior Researcher Smith
The Experiment was conducted for testing the capabilities of SCP-6942, and its resistance to damage.
The experiment went as follows:
The lighting was on and Smith entered the containment cell used for this experiment.
He took a pair of scissors and cut the cord connecting the head and the body.
In less than a second the other researchers heard a scream and when they got in the cell the walls were red with Smith's blood and guts and his body was nowere to be seen.
When cleaning was done, the mass of all bodyparts sprayed around the cell was equal to the mass of smith before entering the cell.
Later when Experiment-6942-3 was conducted they could see that the cord that was cut, was intact anew.
Note: "I think this means that he will grow back together if damaged." - Researcher Greenhill
Experiment-6942-3
Performed on 4/15/2013
Experiment peformed by: Researcher Greenhill
This experiment was conducted to see if it is possible to survive cutting of any of SCP-6942's limbs.
The experiment went as follows:
D-7134 was instructed to use the robot arm to cut off the block of wood haning on the right side of the toy.
Result:see Incident-6942-2
Incident-6942-2
occurred on 4/16/2013
At 09:30 SCP-6942 was seen in its active state wandering the site.
Security personnel was immediatly called to the SCP.
When trying to recontain it, SCP-6942 attacked them and all but one was killed.
Everyone shortly after witnessing this tried to commit suicide.
When SCP-6942 had killed D-7134 it returned to its inactive state.
██ deaths, and ██ injured trying to commit suicide.
███ was administered class-A amnestics.
Note: "Request for any experiment involving mutilation of SCP-6942 needing permission from an 05." - Researcher Greenhill
"Granted" - 05-6
Experiment-6942-4
Performed on 2/5/2014
Performed by: Junior Researcher Jameson
The experiment was conducted to check if SCP-6943 would regenerate lost wood.
Request was approved by 05-6 as long as the one who swings the axe in the same room as SCP-6942 and does not flee the room, so that another containment breach does not occur
The experiment went as follows:
D-7154 entered a containment cell used for this experiment with an axe.
He then cut half of the left hand on SCP-6942
He was immediatly mauled to death
Note: "Request for permission to let D-7154's body lay in there and prolong the experiment for a week." - Researcher Greenhill
"Request granted" - 05-█
After two days, where each day we checked on the cell.
D-7154's body was gone, and another wooden block toy.
This and other instances are now referred to as SCP-6942-1.
When this was seen the experiment was called of, and SCP-6942-1 was transferred to a standard contaiment locker.
The pice of wood that was removed still could kill like normal, the only differnce would be that it couldn't move close.
The piece of wood was incinerated.
Note: "I think this means SCP-6942 can be incinerated. Request to try it." - Researcher Greenhill
"Request denied." - 05-█
Experiment-6942-5
*Performed on 3/4/2014
Performed by:** Junior Researcher Jameson
The Experiment was conducted to test SCP-6942-1's capabilities.
Experiment-6942-1 was recreated.
Same result.
Experiment-6942-2 was recreated.
The wooden block did not reattach.
Experiment-6942-4 was recreated.
Same result.
after this SCP-6942-1 was incinerated.
Only ashes, and burnt plastic from the eyes, were left, they had no anomolous properties.
Note: "So they can be killed." - Resarcher Greenhill
Experiment-6942-5
*Performed on 3/4/2014
Performed by:** Resarcher Greenhill
The experiment was conducted to find the speed of SCP-6942.
The experiment went as follows:
A standard containment cell with motion censors in a line to check the speed.
A D-class sitting in a one end of the room, and SCP-6942 sitting in the other end.
Light was turned off for on second and the D-class was found deceased.
With data from the sensors a speed of approximately 75m/s was calculated.
Experiment-6942-5
*Performed on 3/5/2014
Performed by:** Resarcher Greenhill
The experiment was conducted to find SCP-6942's speed in water.
The experiment went as follows:
A standard containment filled halfway with water where one D-class was instructed to stay in one end with their head above the surface.
SCP-6942 was placed on the water where it floated like normal wood of that type.
there was motion sensors between SCP-6942 and the D-class.
after the light was turned off for one second, the cell was drained of water and the body was taken out.
With data from the sensors a speed of approximately 50m/s was calculated.
Note: "So the it's slower in water, good to know."
Experiment-6942-6
*Performed on 11/20/2016
Performed by:** Resarcher Greenhill
The experiment was conducted to find out if in after a containment breach, SCP-6942 could be restored so further experiments are possible.
The experiment went as follows:
A block the size of SCP-6942's right hand would be introduced to SCP-6942.
Result: SCP-6942 without switching from the inactive state to the active state detached the remaining pice of its left hand.(see Experiment-6942-4)
and put the new piece back.
No abnormal behavior seen after this.
Note: "This means we can try to disasmble this. Request for cutting every cord in an
experiment." - Researcher Greenhill
"Request granted." - 05-█
Experiment-6942-6
*Performed on 01/01/2017
Performed by:** Resarcher Greenhill
The experiment was conducted to find out if storing SCP-6942 as just its head.
The experiment went as follows:
We got four D-class to remove one piece at a time, then getting killed were afterwards we will take the piece to a standard containment locker.
Then each piece was sat behind meter behind a D-class personnel.
Light goes off for a second.
Result:
No death.
the objects are now placed in the lap of a D-Class.
Result:
Same as before except when the head was placed in the lap, all of D-9684's crotch, stomach and upper legs were mostly gone.
D-9684 died shortly after of blood loss
Note: "The head is the only dangerous part, and is easily conatained by itself.
Request to each piece by it self, to conserve electricity and minimize the chances of a containment breach." - Resarcher Greenhill
"Request granted." - 05-█
Experiment-6942-6
*Performed on 01/01/2017
Performed by:** Resarcher Greenhill
The experiment was conducted to find out how dangerous SCP-6942-1 is:
The experiment went as follows:
A SCP-6942-1s is placed in a room with a D-class.
They are left in the dark for 48 hours.
Result: The D-class' body was gone, and another SCP-6942-1 was found in the room besides the original.
Note: "So they can replicate, that could be dangerous if it breached containment." -Resarcher Greenhill
