Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be stored in a Type-4Λ safe box at Site 33. Bio-metric access is be restricted to Level 4 Clearance Level.
Under no circumstances should audiovisual1 data be saved in a digital medium.
Experimentation on SCP-XXXX is restricted until further notice.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation for three anomalous objects: SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3. SCP-XXXX-1 is a lavender air freshener of brand █████. When humans are exposed to the contents of SCP-XXXX-1, they will manifest a need to search a human-sized closed door of any kind. If subjects can't find any object with this specifications; or the latter is obstructed, subjects will enter REM sleep for three hours2.
If subject gains access to the door, the latter will be opened and subject will enter SCP-XXXX-2.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a room with various anomalous properties:
- Has a permanent lavender odour.
- Can only be accessed through SCP-XXXX-1 exposition.
- Subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-2 report a "relaxing, peaceful" feeling3.
Inside of SCP-XXXX-2, there's a double-sized bed, a ceiling fan, empty wooden vaults, and a plastic pot with SCP-XXXX-3 in it.
SCP-XXXX-3 is a singular Lavandula angustifolia4 exemplar with no senescence5. SCP-XXXX-3 is in a permanent blooming state, and when all the flowers are recollected or removed from the plant, new flowers grow when another subject goes into SCP-XXXX-2. The way SCP-XXXX-3 achieves this is unknown. Any sample taken from SCP-XXXX-3 dematerialises when subject leaves SCP-XXXX-2. There's no known ways to retrieve these samples outside of SCP-XXXX-2.
Addendum XXXX.1: Subjects exposed to any of the objects designated SCP-XXXX suffer from memory loss, being unable to recall exposure to any of these. It is believed that SCP-XXXX has antimemetic properties, since all audiovisual data stored in a digital medium suffers from heavy corruption. This includes; but it's not limited to: audio files, photos, videos, etc. However, analogue data storage does not seem to be affected by this anomaly. As of ██-██-20██, all audiovisual data regarding SCP-XXXX is to be stored in physical mediums.
Psychological analysis demonstrates that subjects that suffer from major depressive disorder feel highly diminished symptoms after exposure to any of the SCP-XXXX objects. This effect lasts between 30 minutes to 3 months; duration is apparently random.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX came to Foundation custody in a routine GoI investigation. SCP-XXXX-1 was found in a safe box contained in the extinct GoI lab ██████. Item was safely and successfully relocated to Site 33.
██-██-20██: Due to the enormous amount of information about SCP-XXXX6, further testing is considered irrelevant. Testing on SCP-XXXX is restricted until further notice.
