Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Identified instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be captured and transported to light containment at Site ██. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be transported to secure facilities for testing. In the interest of protecting Foundation infrastructure and staff, on-site security personnel should carry █████-brand electric flyswatters at all times, and carefully observe any flies within or near Foundation Sites. It is the responsibility of the Site Director to ensure Foundation-tested bug traps are present surrounding the entirety of their local site. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be terminated before making contact with any surface. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be reported to the Site Director, who will contact Dr. ██████.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation assigned to two (2) anomalous entities. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be an ordinary house fly (Musca domestica), typically found engaging in activities similar to what a non-anomalous housefly would do. Anomalous activities begin when an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 lands on a vertical surface. Upon contact with said surface, both SCP-XXXX-1 and the vertical surface it landed on (hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-2) will begin to emit groaning noises as the entirety of SCP-XXXX-2 is covered in exact replicas of the original SCP-XXXX-1 instance. Once total engulfing has been achieved, SCP-XXXX-2 will, by an unknown anomalous means, be rendered the hardest material known on Earth. Testing done by Foundation researchers on 02/12/████ found that chunks taken from SCP-XXXX-2 are harder than diamond (synthetic and man-made), with a Vickers Hardness score consistently reaching 200 GPa. Destruction of instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have proven to be difficult, but not impossible. See Experiment Log XXXX-1.
