Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4891 is to be kept within a specially constructed 2x3x2km room. Said room is to be lined with at least 1 meter of lead, and a minimum of at least two Giger counters are to be installed and checked weekly. Should the radiation levels raise above 1 (Sievert/Sec), the site administrator should be contacted immediately. The cell should be checked for cracks, leaks or damage regularly.
Description: SCP-4891 is a large radioactive mass located in the basement of Site 235, █████████, Ukraine. It's physical appearance is much like that of forming lava's, however, it's copper color and hardened outer shell makes it much different. Samples taken from SCP-4891 show that it's primary composition is a hardened form of Silicon dioxide along with trace amounts of uranium and zircon. SCP-4891 is believed to be the result of SCP-████ combining with Site 235's reactor during the meltdown and the subsequent facility breach of 4/26/████.
SCP-4891's anomalous properties begin to manifest shortly after a subject has made contact with the exterior surface. At approximately thirty seconds a very thick smog will appear through currently unknown means. The heavy smoke will begin to cause the subject to cough heavily before quickly engulfing the subject. The subject with then cease movement before completely being removed from their last known location. How SCP-4891 does this is still currently unknown. Subjects tend to reappear somewhere within Site 235. After their return, most subjects tend to exhibit signs of deep burns that emit small amounts of radiation. They also tend to show signs of mild to severe radiation poisoning, and is most cases also present large amounts of tumors riddled throughout their bodies. In rare cases, the subject may return with acute to severe cases of paranoid schizophrenia and blindness.
Currently, the surviving subjects report that the mist had moved them to one of three different locations. Those being, Hiroshima, Japan, Chernobyl, Ukraine, (See Incident Report 12) and Boston MA, United States. Subjects report that, upon arriving in the new location, they are surrounded by mannequins.
These mannequins are described as being solid white in appearance and constructed of a hard plastic. These mannequins are to be referred to as SCP-4891-1. Subjects claim that they are similar to that of any store mannequin. Upon manifestation, they appear to be fully dressed, some even wearing what could be described as makeup. It should also be noted that all of the mannequins appear to be in positions that closely resemble fear or defense, almost as if they were trying to, "Hide" as stated by a subject.
SCP-4891 appears to have the ability to replicate entire locations exactly as they where at the time in the real world. It should also be stated that it is possible for SCP-4891 to sustaining life however, there is no life besides the subject that had entered. Items such as foods and drinks appear to be fresh with no noticeable effects or ailments afflicting them. Some of the mannequins are reported to be posing in ways that could almost be considered consuming/eating. In rare cases, cigars and cigarettes are lit and still producing smoke however, there was nothing around to light them.
At around approximately 30 minutes inside of SCP-4891, subjects will begin to grow anxious with no apparent cause. Shortly after, sounds of a deep, low laugh can be heard along with a faint sound of someone humming. The noise continues to increase in volume as time goes on and continues until the subject has spent exactly one hour within SCP-4891 at which point a bell will chime twelve times. The sound has no actual origin point and so far has no limit to how far it can be heard from however, the audio equipment supplied to the subjects has not been able to pick up any noise heard by the subject besides the bell.
