Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX shall be contained in a twenty by twenty, by twenty (20x20x20) metre locked room. The concrete walls are to be lined with one point five (1.5) metres of acoustic padding. The room should be on constant surveillance by at least one guard. The guard must always be wearing high-grade ear protection.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an irregular icosahedra, made up of approximately 18 human corpses. SCP-XXXX resembles the shape of a basket fungus. It is on average three point eight (3.8) metres in diameter and on average eleven point nine (11.9) metres in circumference.

The origins of SCP-XXXX are currently unknown, although 7 of the 18 corpses have been located. Each identified corpse has been a Caucasian male, all aged 23, residents of ████████, Florida. None of them were born before ██ of ██████ 1995, and none after ██ of █████.

SCP-XXXX was discovered under ████████ Bridge, ███████, Florida. SCP-XXXX was mostly submerged in the water of the ██████ Estuary. It is currently believed that SCP-XXXX preyed on narcotic users who often visited ████████ Bridge. This however, does not explain the similarities in age, race and gender. Method of joining the victim to SCP-XXXX is still unknown.

SCP-XXXX has been confirmed to be sentient. Its level of intelligence is currently unknown. It vibrates the larynges of its victims to produce harsh rattling sounds exceeding one-hundred and sixty-five (165) decibels. One (1) personnel, ███ ███████, was placed in intensive care after being exposed to an outburst of one-hundred and ninety-two (192) decibels, when ear protection slipped off.

Weekly X-Rays have demonstrated that SCP-XXXX is slowly morphing its innards to better suit its needs. Bones are connecting to form a firm brace, keeping the subject in a solid icosahedra shape. Internal organs such as the heart, lungs, intestines, blood have been converted to a thick sludge. This sludge flows around the body of SCP-XXXX, keeping it alive. The larynges of the corpses have been heavily swollen. SCP-XXXX is changing rapidly, more heavy supervision may be needed soon.
