Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4762 should be contained within a 5x5x5 air-tight and explosive-resistant container, walls must be at least 50cm thick in order to retain SCP-4762 as adequately as possible.SCP-4762's containment chamber temperature must not exceed 0ºC. SCP-4762 must be give a new host within six (6) hours of the previous host expiring. There must be no less than four (4) guards surrounding SCP-4762's containment chamber. Structural checks on SCP-4762's containment cell must be made within 30 minutes of SCP-4762 gaining a new host to ensure the safety of maintenance and repair staff, inspections must been made to ensure no small gaps or cracks that may give SCP-4762 the ability to potentially escape, any damages must be repaired immediately.
To prevent SCP-4762 from making Staff researches it's host, SCP-4762 is forcibly sucked into a small [REDACTED] brand vacuum cleaner as a temporary container until it explodes out of it. During the short window between movement into temporary container and the escape from temporary container a new host is quickly moved into SCP-4762's containment chamber and the entryway is to be sealed closed again.
Should a containment breach occur MTF force Mu-13 assigned "GhostBusters" should be assigned to the task of capturing, the use of specialized vacuum devices should be employed and the rapid suction and expulsion of SCP-4762 can keep it confused and keep it unable to regain humanoid form, whilst in motion from expulsion from these specialized devices SCP-4762 will become confused and unable to release energy to cause harm to staff security. Should a containment breach occur whilst SCP-4762 is occupying a host then MTF Epsilon-9 assigned "Fire Eaters" should be employed to deal with the high energy released to deal with the high temperature environment, SCP-4762-1 should be contained within a temporary 0.5x2x0.5 with 30cm titanium walls.
Description: SCP-4762 is a sentient grey colored gas that manifests in a form resembling a humanoid entity, in this state SCP-4762 is highly unstable and will become increasingly aggressive after 6 hours without a host to occupy.
When SCP-4762 enters a host it will begin draining this host of energy eventually causing the host to expire, this process can take upwards of a month at most or two (2) hours at the minimum. Hosts of SCP-4762 which shall be referred to as SCP-4762-1 begin following symptoms of general exhaustion, weakened immune system, discoloration of the skin, mood swings and psychosis. When controlling a host SCP-4762 can voluntarily return control of the SCP-4762-1's body to SCP-4762-1, When SCP-4762 returns control to SCP-4762-1, SCP-4762-1 will have no recollection of the events occurred when SCP-4762 was in control.
Through the collection and storing of energy when occupying a host, SCP-4762's primary method of attack is through the use of explosions, by releasing large bursts of energy built up SCP-4762 can inflict small burns to people or create an explosion small enough to create a crater with a diameter of 50 meters. The limit to SCP-4762's explosive powers have yet to be tested.

Addendum: SCP-4762 seems to posses a great intelligence whilst not being able to verbally communicate to staff whether being in control of a host or without a host it shows a highly strategic and manipulative mind, being able to manipulate hosts and being able to disguise itself to unsuspecting people and suddenly take the unsuspecting person as a host if they approach SCP-4762.
