Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6161 is to be kept at Site-170, built around it's entire encompassing area of 364m. SCP-6161 is allowed access by any personnel above level 2 clearance, if under stress. SCP-6161 is to be monitored and researched monthly. Water dispensers are to be kept above the region, at least above 10m, in order to maintain the SCP.
Description: SCP 6161 is a 364m long, 364m wide field of Paspalum dilatatum (known more commonly as Dallisgrass). If any human above the age of 18 is to touch the grass with any part of their body, an anomalous effect will ensue, in which the person will begin to recall, vividly, their happiest memory. Memories include birthday parties, award winning ceremonies, family moments, etc. Upon leaving the area, the person will lose all memory of entering, other than stepping foot on the grass. Any attempts to destroy the grass will fail, including warheads, blunt force, or igniting the grass. Any attempt to destroy the grass will result in massive harm from the grass, including large cuts or bruises on the area used during the attempt.
Addendum 6161a: On 5/26/20██, researchers reported seeing a growth of SCP-6161 along the walls of it's containment area and on the entering floor. Attempts to stop the growth have all failed, and so far, it has grown into the main hall. Reclassified to Euclid.
Addendum 6161b: On 9/10/20██, a massive spike in growth was reported, killing half of the personnel at Site-170 during their escape. The grass has now grown outside of the site and on it's ceilings. Current construction is being made to rehouse the rapidly spreading SCP. Reclassified to Keter.
