Description: SCP-6710 is a cardboard box labeled with the popular shipping company United Postal Service, or UPS. There is a message on the side of the box that appears to have been printed on the box during production, marked with ‘DO NOT OPEN’ on the side. Any personnel that attempt to look at the contents of SCP-6710 will instantly have the uncontrollable urge to jump into SCP-6710 and the lid of the box will be immediately shut and will not open a total of 19 hours. There is a faint light emanating from the opening from the top of SCP-6710 when the lid appears as open. SCP-6710 appears to be in pristine condition despite being subjected to multiple tests that would’ve otherwise changed SCP-6710’s condition and appearance.

Discovery: SCP-6710 was discovered near ████████, Washington. Local authorities were alerted to the disappearance of an entire neighborhood. A total of ███ civilians were reported missing on ██/██/2017 which brought authorities to find SCP-6710 in the last house on the block in the neighborhood. SCP-6710 was then relocated to Site-64 for further experimentation and research.

Addendum-6709-A: Two D-class personnel were instructed to open SCP-6710’s lid. The first D-class was instructed to look away while the other subject opened SCP-6710 and looked inside. D-class subject that observed contents of SCP-6710 instantly threw himself into SCP-6710, the lid of SCP-6710 was immediately shut for the next 19 hours. During the period of SCP-6710 being shut, SCP-6710 vibrated slightly while every three hours shaking violently for a total of 13 minutes before abruptly stopping to rest in the dormant state.

Addendum-6710-B: A M67 fragmentation grenade was thrown at SCP-6710 to attempt to open the lid to observe the contents of SCP-6710. After smoke cleared from the room, no visible damage on the surface of SCP-6710 was observed. The pedestal which SCP-6710 rests on was completely destroyed, and SCP-6710 was laying on the floor of the containment chamber. Test results concluded that SCP-6710 was completely indestructible when explosive tools were used.

Addendum-6710-C: SCP-6710 was left in a glass fish tank full to the top with filtered fresh water to test if SCP-6710’s cardboard exterior could sustain water damage. SCP-6710 was left for a total of 48 hours. While submerged in the tank, 47 hours into the test, SCP-6710 began to violently shake, causing the tank to fall on its side. After the test was abruptly cut short, Researcher ██████ described the exterior of SCP-6710 to be completely intact, showing no signs of water damage. During these events, Security Officer ████ was monitoring SCP-6710, and the camera mounted in the corner of the room was exposed to SCP-6710’s contents, which led to the death of the officer. After this incident, no camera surveillance is to be installed in SCP-6710’s containment chamber.

Incident-SCP-6710-1: Prior incident to the withdrawal of surveillance equipment. Security Officer ████ was monitoring SCP-6710 at ██████ PM. During Addendum-6709-C, SCP-6710 was left laying on its side, causing SCP-6710 to face the camera situated in the top corner of the containment chamber. The security officer saw the contents of SCP-6710 through the recording feed in the camera system and ”Had a wild look in his eyes as he darted out of the office, ran up to the containment chamber door, unlocked it, and jumped inside the box” as described by the other guard present in the security office during Incident-SCP-6710-1. Since the incident, no further recording equipment is to be installed inside the chamber.
