Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a blast-proof shelter containing standard animal containment cage. The entry door is to be guarded by 2 machine gun turrets with backup human operators. Those entering the shelter must be of at least Level 4 clearance and must enter with 2 other Level 4 or higher staff. In the event that one researcher attempts to remove the collar and becomes an instance of SCP-XXXX-1, they are to be restrained by the other 2 researchers and contained or terminated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a teacup Welsh Corgi puppy. The puppy's collar is a diamond studded watch with a simple leather band, the time frozen at 11:57. SCP-XXXX does not appear to age, and has remained a puppy for at least ████ years.
The existence of the dog was initially discovered through a peice of parchment found amongst the Dead Sea Scrolls appearing to be a lost page of the Book of Revelations. The page states, in metaphorical terms, that the end of the world as depicted in the Book of Revelations will start with the death of SCP-XXXX.
Immediately after the capture of SCP-XXXX, a group of cultists raided the compound. Most were shot by security guards, however one was captured alive and interrogated. Psychoanalysis revealed that he was suffering from the symptoms of schizophrenia and depression. He revealed that the raiders' goal was to kill SCP-XXXX.
After incident [DATA EXPUNGED] it was discovered that the cause of the cultists' insanity was an attempt to remove the coller. Any subject (SCP-XXXX-1) who attempts to remove the collar becomes schizophrenic. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will seek out others affected. Once a fairly large number of instances are grouped, they will attempt to kill SCP-XXXX.
The very secure containment is not to keep the SCP in, but to keep groups of SCP-XXXX-1 out
It has been noted that a supposed glich in a popular online translation service results in a string made up of the repetition of the word "dog" translating to a criptic message seeming to refer to SCP-XXXX. Investigation is inconclusive as to if the glitch is anomalous past the information breach it implies.
Addendum: While the death of the dog could be an XK Class End-of-the-World event, the dog will definitely not escape and we are confident in our ability to ward off the raiders. SCP-XXXX has been downgraded to Euclid class. - Researcher ███████
