SCP-6066
Class: Euclid.
Appearance: Humanoid, approximately 200 centimeters tall. Winged with a wingspan of approximately 450 centimeters. Physical features indeterminate.
Basic Containment Information:
SCP-6066 is known to be easily contained by stone or metal. If it is or once was alive, SCP-6066 can move through it unhindered, including but not limited to; wood, flesh, water and bone.
Concrete was previously used to contain SCP-6066 however after only a few months the walls would wear dangerously thin due to SCP-6066's constant clawing for freedom. Containment material has since been changed to lead and it now takes several years before requiring replacement. Recommended replacement after 5 years.
The assigned caretaker can be used to occupy SCP-6066 and to temporarily halt its destructive behavioural patterns.
Advanced Containment Information.
A metal door is optional, and could prove useful in an emergency, however it is highly recommended most interactions with SCP-6066 are conducted through a latch in the ceiling. Specifically a latch with a diameter no larger than 4 meters so that any aerial escape attempts are futile.
Methods of Operation
SCP-6066 is an entity whose primary targets are humans. During the initial observation and study of the creature, researchers Professor [REDACTED] and Professor [REDACTED], leading research group 118, found several points of importance.
- SCP-6066 is invisible to all humans while it is connected to a subject, except the subject it is connected to.
- SCP-6066's appearance varied significantly through the multiple encounters that have been observed. All observations on the matter are second hand. The only traits that detailed accounts have had in common is that SCP-6066 has large wings and eminates a bright aura when seen.
- SCP-6066 has been observed to telepathically connect to the first subject that sees it. At which point, the subject will acquire a set of abilities.
The abilities always include:
- Telepathic connection to SCP-6066 in order to communicate remotely.
- Abnormal regenerative properties.
The symptoms always include:
- Insomnia.
- Amnesia.
- Seizures.
- Occasional involuntary movement.
Professor [REDACTED] has identified 2 sets of abilities and symptoms. Only one would be acquired in addition. She has dubbed them Vivian and Glandeco. A Vivian subject is classed as SCP-6066a and is *safe.* A Glandecan subject is classed as SCP-6066b and is *euclid.*
Vivian abilities:
- The ability to heal the wounded and sick through touch.
- The ability to shield others from harm using a telekinetic force field.
- The ability to silence and immobilize threats.
- The ability to generate items of food and drink from thin air.
- The ability clean objects and surfaces through touch.
Vivian symptoms:
- The frequent quoting of biblical verses.
- Referring to SCP-6066 as a God, along with never faltering worship and praying sessions thrice daily.
- Increase in empathetic behaviour towards others.
- Decrease in subjective value of materialistic desires and luxuries, often choosing to live with as little wealth as possible.
Glendecan abilities:
- The ability to clear the memory of others.
- The ability to generate intense heat from the palms of its hands.
- The ability to break objects and bones with its mind.
- The ability to subject others to its will.
- The ability to shape the blood and bone of its victims, often using them as a shield or weapon.
Glendecan symptoms:
- The frequent chanting of unintelligeble choruses.
- Referring to SCP-6066 as God, along with never faltering worship and sacrifices thrice daily.
- Decrease in empathetic behaviour towards others.
- Increase in appetite, often eating its victims.
Recommended subject procedures.
When a new caretaker is to be assigned, a class-D subject is placed through the hatch of SCP-6066's enclosure. The subject will then be retrieved and observed for symptoms. If the subject shows symptoms or abilities of the Glendecan variety, the subject is to be terminated immediately and a new class-D subject should be appointed. If the subject shows symptoms or abilities of the Vivian variety the subject will be held in a separate enclosure for observation and study. SCP-6066a has been found to be incredibly useful for supplying resources to the foundation and can be used to help contain other SCPs.
The symptoms and abilities take time to develop and as such, once a subject has been retrieved from SCP-6066's enclosure it must be contained in a similar room until either Vivian or Glendecan symptoms present itself.
Theories
Multiple theories on SCP-6066 exist among group 118 which have been found worth noting for speculative purposes to the potential motives of SCP-6066.
- SCP-6066 chooses one prodigy at a time and turns them Vivian or Glandecan depending entirely on the subject's nature and predisposition to do good or evil.
- SCP-6066 feeds off of its prodigies and goes into hiding while it does so. This is suggested by SCP-6066's consistent method of selecting the first human that sees it and then turning invisible. It is believed these are not prodigies for great power and potential, but prey.

Professor [REDACTED]: Mr. Cotwood, how have you been?
Mr. Cotwood: James is fine, Professor [REDACTED]. Honestly. I've never been better and how are you this blessed day?
Professor [REDACTED]: Alright. James. I'd like to discuss this… creature you've seen. What did it look like?
Mr. Cotwood: Ah, yes. God. I'm afraid I do not remember. His blessed presence both blinded me and gave me sight. I can see Him so clearly in my head sometimes, and then, the next moment, He is gone. I can describe Him and yet I can't quite spill the words.
Professor [REDACTED]: If you could try to remember, James, that would be greatly appreciated. Anything at all would help.
Mr. Cotwood: I….
Mr. Cotwood: Wings. Spreading from wall to wall. A magnificent beauty. His presence enlightened me and filled me with warmth. I saw a bright, white hooded robe. A beard flowing like a curtain. And the glow, it shun upon me and I knew that, in that moment, I was blessed.
Professor [REDACTED]: Could you describe your life before seeing God?
Mr. Cotwood: I remember being shy and introverted. A complete opposite of what you see now. Now I love people, I enjoy being around them and I adore every smile.
Professor [REDACTED]: And what would you say is the goal of -

Professor [REDACTED]: Skipper, can you hear me? You've had another seizure.
Professor [REDACTED]: It hurts.
Professor [REDACTED]: Your nose is bleeding, let me help you.
Professor [REDACTED]: I have to… have to…
Professor [REDACTED]: What's wrong, Skipper? You have to what?
Professor [REDACTED]: Burn… Everything… We… Know…
The audio becomes static for approximately two minutes and forty-three seconds. When audible conversation can be heard again, it is clear there is the sound of fire in the background.
Professor [REDACTED]: Skipper! Stop! You've got to control this!
Professor [REDACTED]: I'm sorry, [REDACTED]. I… Have to… Kill… You… Run! Please! I… Beg you…
What follows is the sound of a metal door being forced open followed by the shouting of a special unit of facility guards, followed by the sound of gunfire, for approximately thirty-two seconds.
Professor [REDACTED]: sound of screaming and crying
Professor [REDACTED]: sound of agonal breathing
Professor [REDACTED]: Skipper? Please, stay with me… Stay with -
