Special Containment Procedures: SCP-* is to be contained in a locked soundproof 10m containment unit with typical humanoid containment, any and all instances of SCP-*-1 are to be recorded and cross-referenced to previous records. Band rehearsals by instances of SCP-*-1 are permitted only when researchers are present.

Description:
SCP-* is a civilian van painted with spray painted black and white “checkered” pattern and decorated with several stickers and crude paintings of various logos, mostly of “punk” and alternative musicians active in the 1990s onward. The windows, save for the front windshield are to tinted, preventing external view. When opened, the interior from external observation is typical of a van, containing several musical instruments. Observation of the interior is unable to show anomalous behavior, however evidenced by the number of SCP-*-1 instances exceeding the possible capacity, the interior is anomalous in nature.

SCP-*-1 are anomalous entities genetically and physically identical to humans that manifest from SCP-*. Together, the instances claim to be members of a band that they refer to as "Skanomalous" and play songs of the ska and punk rock styles. These instances seem to be aware of their anomalous nature but do not voice any understanding nor worry regarding it. Attempts to question instances have yielded minimal information on them, only that they "don't care" and wish to discuss punk bands, alcohol, drugs.

Currently, 53 unique SCP-*-1 instances have been cataloged with the most present outside of SCP-* at a time being 12. Several instances have reappeared while some have appeared only once. They will always manifest in a group of at least 4 members filling the roles of a band: 1 bassist, 1 drummer, at least 1 guitarist, 1 vocalist (possibly also an instrumentalist) as well as any number of additional trumpeters, saxophonists, and trombonists and possibly a keyboardist.
