SCP-5808.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5808 is to be contained in a 1 x 1.5 x 1 foot room, only level 2 clearance is required due to its nature as a mostly harmless anomaly (See Addendum SCP-5808-01). No monitoring is needed as long as the previous requirements are fulfilled.
Description: SCP-5808 is a wooden ladder, consisting of 10 planks arranged 14 inches apart from one another. The planks come from an oak tree of the Beech family (Fagaceae). The ladder shows visible signs of rot and decay predating back to the 18th century.
In function, the ladder works as any other ladder of its type; although once a subject has climbed up the ladder the subject completely loses the ability to return down the ladder. When a subject is asked to do so; they can respond and acknowledge the request but any attempt to climb down will return inconclusive, said subject will have forgotten the request as well as their inability to climb down the ladder.
