"The Dark Red Field"

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-666 is a large field (around 5 acres) that should be covered in human and animal blood. After
'The Day of the Massacre', the field must once again be covered in human and animal blood before 6 years, 6 months, and 6 days when it happens again (See Addendum SCP-666-B). There are also 2 anomalies found within SCP-666.

They will keep saying "The wolf will come again." until 'The Day of the Massacre' (6 years, 6 months, and 6 days). They will then suddenly go silent, crouch, and bury their faces to the ground. This is the sign that "The Day of the Massacre" will begin.
Tests on these children have been banned due to an incident (See Addendum SCP-666-B Otherwise known as and fabricated as a bombing in this small town.) unless 2/3 of the O-5 council agree to test on SCP-666-01.

If the group of SCP-666-01 stops crying, several SCP-666-02 and their leader emerge from underneath the field. SCP-666-02 will cause chaos and destruction, known as 'The Day of the Massacre'.
Addendum: Incident SCP-666-A

1999, October 31. Around 9 pm in the city of [Redacted]
A small 7-year-old boy by the name of Alex Tunnel was trick o' treating in the small park of [Redacted]. Alex was just walking around when he heard voices of small children laughing and playing. He was kind of lonely and wanted friends. So, he decided to try and make friends with these kids (SCP-666-01), not knowing they were anomalies in an anomalous field. An agent was positioned in this field because SCP foundation members heard many anomalous things happening in this field.
When Alex got closer to the children, the agent watching him noticed something different. The laughter of the children seemed to fade away and turn into worried chatter the closer he got. The field turned red like blood. The agent saw that Alex was worried when he was around 40 meters away from the children. At this point they started screaming, warning him not to get closer. Yet Alex was determined to make friends and walked another 10 meters, he was looking very scared and looked like he was about to cry, he took one more step when suddenly crunch.
Something bit him on his leg, Alex yelped in pain. A wolf-like creature that seemed to come from underground, and had ripped his leg off. Then, suddenly more wolf-like creatures emerged from underground and proceeded to bite him, they had tore apart his flesh. The wolves pulled his body into the ground as if there was some quicksand that had slowly engulfed them, then his screams were gone, vanished into the quiet breeze.
His screams were so loud that it seemed everyone in the whole park heard him, it had alerted his parents and several bystanders, the parents watched in horror as their own son has getting mauled and some bystanders watched in horror with the parents, and the others had called 911. The wolf-like creatures had crawled back into the ground and the SCP Agent who was watching this incident, Sivia Louns, immediately asked the foundation for a fake body similar to Alex Tunnel's and several class-c amnestics, the kid was already gone, brought into the dark red ground.
Without a moment of hesitation, the agent gave the parents and the bystanders who witnessed this event a class-c amnestic and brought the fake body in the field at the park. His parents and the bystanders were given the story by the police, who were also given amnestics and was told that Alex Tunnel's body which was severely ripped apart, was found on the field, appearing to be mauled by a pack of wolves.

Addendum: Incident SCP-666-01-A

Attempts at communication with the small children seemed impossible because of this mission.
Class-D-13468 was the test subject that experienced what horrors Alex had felt. He was wearing a hazmat suit, a rope around his waist that the foundation could use to get him out of needed, and on his person a 9mm bullet gun he could use to defend himself (Com-19 gun).
The Class-D tried to speak with the children by getting closer, they merely screamed and repeated the words "Don't get close!"
He was 40 meters away and felt shivers and scary thoughts about getting closer.
He was told to keep going. He stopped moving at around 30 meters away claiming something was gonna get him.
Suddenly, wolves started to come out of the ground but the security personnel and the Class-D started shooting the wolves. The security personnel appeared to have killed a few wolves scaring off the others, The bodies of the wolves weren't able to be retrieved due to the bodies suddenly disappearing below the ground.
he was told to keep on moving. Finally he was 20 meters away, a mist suddenly appeared around him when suddenly he just stopped. He was told to explain what was happening and to keep moving towards the children. But he just stood there. He was pulled by after showing no signs of movement or communication.
When the scientists took off his suit, what they saw shocked them.
The Class-D's eyes were a blank white, his skin a pale color, and his heartbeat was as slow as 15 beats per minute, the scientists on the site checked for his brain and scanned it. When results for his brain came back, it showed that all memories of his life were gone, it had vanished. Whatever was in the mist was able to get through the hazmat suit and turn him into a lifeless human corpse.
With this shocking revelation, the foundation decided that no human subjects were to be used to experiment with SCP-666-01, unless permitted by 2/3rds of the O-5 council. But robots and drones were allowed.

Addendum: Incident SCP-666-02-B

2005, November 6, 9 pm
A waning crescent moon was barely shining, the children stopped crying. It was silent, after Alex Tunnel's death the kids wouldn't stop crying until
after 6 months, 6 days, and 6 hours after Alex's death.
Something massive started coming out of the ground, a giant wolf-like creature had come out of the ground but the left over blood of Alex Tunnel on the field seemed to prevent it slightly, the blood had become a slimey barrier preventing the giant wolf's head from coming out of the ground. when it finally got it's head out. SCP-666-02 tried to kill everything on the field. The SCP Scientists, Security Guards and Class-D personnel were crushed or eaten by the giant wolf. It was all chaos and everyone started running. Some tried to escape the field, they were eaten by the smaller wolves around the perimeter of the area. Others tried to hide but were caught by the wolves.
The only personnel that had somehow survived this incident were 2 scientists and 1 D-class personnel crying with the small children in the middle of the field, The wolves and mist that were around the perimeter of the children seemed to have disappeared during the massacre. The wolves seemed to be scared of the children, they didn't want to approach them. The wolves decided instead to raid the city, killing and destroying anything they saw on their way.
Several MTF squads were dispatched to take care of the wolves but none of the soldiers were left alive. Everything was destroyed and the wolves were the cause. The giant wolf wanted to head out to other cities. But the wolves were sinking to the ground. The giant wolf howling into the slimmer of the moon and one of the children drop dead on the field. With this information, one of the SCP-666-01 dies but it stops the destruction that will keep on happening. There used to be 8 children, but now there are only 6 left. As well as if a tiny patch of blood can stop a giant wolf from getting out, they decided to use a large amount of blood (Animal and human blood were used). And the seemed to barely contain it by the time it was 9 pm when an SCP-666-01 dies.

Addendum: Incident SCP-666-B
Site Researcher's Notes:
More experiments were being made right after the incident SCP-666-02-B and several questions popped up such as "Where did the wolves come from?" or "Why does blood stop the wolves from getting out of the ground" and the most interesting one yet "Why are the wolves scared of the children?"
The foundation were able to answer some of these questions.
The question "Why did the blood stop the wolves from getting out of the ground?" wasn't able to be answered and the statement given was
"Because it's an anomaly." But the question "Where did the wolves come from?" was answered in this experiment log.

Late Researcher Bob Wills was a rocket scientist and was respected for solving mysterious anomalies by doing things that no normal human would even attempt to try, except of course, Dr. Bright.
His contribution was important to the foundation and his most famous mystery that he solved was where the wolves came from in SCP-666.
The Problem with the experiment of wearing a hazmat suit was whatever was in the mist, the size of the particles were equal to or less than oxygen particles. So to solve this problem, Bob decided to have a diver's suit but nothing can come in or out of the gas mask. Only the oxygen tank and empty tank will be where the particles are
going in and out (Around 45 minutes until there is no more oxygen).
The thing that Bob Wills loves to do, is to be the test subject to his research because he doesn't trust the Class-D subjects given to him and he also wants to experience first-hand the anomalies.
Bob put the gas mask on, his communication device inside the gas mask, and the 2 tanks on his back. He also wore reinforced metal suit in order to survive the bites of the wolves when he is being pulled under the ground. Dr. Bob walked towards the children, 30 meters away. He was then pulled under the ground.

//Dr. Bob//: "Hey, I can see something, the wolves
aren't biting me anymore, there's a bright red light
here and oh wow. This looks so beautiful."
//Dr. James//: "What? hey can you at least explain
what you are seeing?"
//Dr. Bob//: "It looks so great, even though it looks
so scary it looks so beautiful."
//Dr. James//: "I'm very interested in what you are
seeing, please explain it."
//Dr. Bob//: "It's a massive cave with lots of red
crystals. There are several wolves in this cave,
but for some reason they aren't trying to attack me,
in fact they are licking my armor."
//Dr. James//: "Isn't that cute? But don't lose your
focus, try walking around and explore this cave."
//Dr. Bob//: "Wait, I forgot to tell you. There is
no gravity here."
//Dr. James//: "Excuse me what?"
//Dr. Bob//: "You heard me, I'm floating right now,
I forgot to tell you that. With the beauty of this
cave and the cute wolves licking my armor of
course I forgot about you."
//Dr. James//: "That's not possible, but this is the
SCP Foundation, so it isn't that surprising. Anyway,
keep on exploring this cave and come back
immediately"
//Dr. Bob//: "You want to know a secret? I don't
want to come back up there. I'm staying in here,
I don't wanna work for the foundation. I've done
enough for them."
//Dr. James//: "But you need to come back here,
we need to experiment on the crystals, what its
properties are and other things inside that cave."
//Dr. Bob//: "Oh god, that's, that's the giant wolf.
IT'S HERE JAMES, THE GIANT WOLF IS IN HERE.
But it looks so nice, the wolf looks like a cute dog."
//Dr. James//: "What? Hey can you explain more?
What do you mean the giant wolf is there?"
//Dr. Bob//: "Augh, you ask too many questions.
I'm staying here."
//Dr. James//: "Just get up here already, grab
some of those crystals as well, hurry up, don't
play your games with me."
//Dr. Bob// "Oh nooo, something's destroying
my uhh- gas mask and I won't be able to speak
with you ahhh-"
