Background

Previously, instances of SCP-1471-A were able to be successfully contained by having their associated mobile devices confiscated and placed in storage at Site-45 prior to it’s host experiencing 90 hours of exposure, or simply monitoring and counseling hosts who were fully exposed. It was eventually discovered that after a long enough period of time, MalOs who spent a considerable amount of time interacting with their hosts could slowly begin gaining the ability to materialize into physical entities, and would require a new method of containment. As of October 14th, 20██, all hosts who were fully exposed to SCP-1471 are to be housed at Site-17 so that their MalOs can be properly monitored and studied by a team of researchers specially trained in handing instances of SCP-1471-A, should they eventually gain the ability to physically materialize.

It is highly recommended that all members in staff interested in learning about or interacting with any MalO in Foundation custody first read the main SCP-1471 item entry prior to exposure.

Team Members

Dr. Pamela Stuart: Team Lead, debriefs new researchers, often observes the other researcher’s interactions with the MalOs, reports to Site Directors, the 05 Council, and the Ethics Committee.
Dr. Richard Lurk: Senior Researcher, assists in the continued training and supervising of researchers, assists in providing hosts and MalOs with whatever daily needs they may have.
Dr. Laura Breynz: Clinical Psychologist, provides counseling for both hosts and MalOs
Dr. Chris "Anon" ███████: Clinical Psychologist, known for their expertise in information technology. Main focus is on studying MalO socialization and behavioral patterns.
Dr. Victor Keadon: Jr Researcher, assists in providing the hosts and MalOs with whatever requests or daily needs they may have, and focuses on their quality of life.
Dr. Erin Hannon: Jr Researcher, assists in providing the hosts and MalOs with whatever requests or daily needs they may have, and focuses on their quality of life.

About: Currently housed at Site-17, A-3’s host is a man in his early 30s. Originally discovered nearly 10 years ago, A-3 was one of the earliest MalOs contained by the Foundation. A-3 is known for having a fairly quiet personality, generally content with doing whatever her host wants to do.

About: Currently housed at Site-17, A-52’s host is a woman in her late 20s. A-52 is known for having a fairly hot temper, and is extremely protective of her host.

About: Currently housed at Site-17, A-69’s host is a man in his early 20s. A-69 is known for having a lusty personality, and loves receiving attention from her host and various members of on-site personnel.

Limited information is known about A-78's full physical appearance due to their apparent inability to physically manifest.
About: Currently housed at Site-17, A-78’s host is a researcher identified as Dr. Collins, who originally requesting to be assigned to the Project MalO team but was rejected do to it being considered a conflict of interests. A-78 has yet been unable to physically manifest, much to the distress of her host, who cares deeply about her and is noted to have lined his office with mirrors. From the limited psychological surveys carried out on A-78, it can be gathered that her mental state is stable, with an almost maternal fondness towards her host, whom is often known to stay isolated in his office for lengthy periods of time, as well as carry a small mirror in his lab coat that he frequently uses to communicate with A-78.

About: Currently housed at Site-17, A-84’s host is a young boy about 9 years of age. Her host originally living in a foster home before being transferred to Site-17, A-84 acted as his parental figure for several years.

About: Currently housed at Site-17, A-96’s host is a woman in her early 30s. A-96 was one of the earliest MalOs known to to be capable of physically materializing. A-96 is known for having a wild-card personality, often intentionally trying to irritate and get a rise out of Project MalO team lead Dr. Stuart, and frequently stealing completely mundane objects from around Site-17 such as pen caps and folding chairs.

About: Currently housed at Site-17, A-115’s host is a young boy in his pre-teens. A-115 is one of the only known instances of SCP-1471-A with the personality and physical characteristics of a child, being about 4’9” in height. His host originally living in South Korea before being transferred to Site-17, A-115 was previously only able to speak and understand Korean, but is currently being taught how to speak English by Dr. Hannon and A-187.

General Appearance: Covered in a short soft layer of black fur, wavy black hair typically pulled back in a ponytail, triangular “fox” ears, blue eyes with black pupils, a dark blue tongue and black eyelids, and a white canid-like skull. Her skull has gentle, rounded features, with medium sized eyes and a long jaw. In addition, subject A-187 has no flesh from the knees and elbows down, her hands/forearms and calves/feet being made of only bone and ligaments.
About: Currently housed at Site-17, A-187 does not have a host herself, and is host to A-96. Originally a human, she temporarily fused with A-96 after A-96 was recovering following severe injuries, and after un-fusing had retained many attributes of a typical MalO.
