The workday has just ended for you, but you decide to stick around. You had found a misdirected email sent to you and you decide to snoop around. You yourself worked a little bit with SCP 2000, and you know when it is used. In your afternoon breaks recently you had taken walks and had found a somewhat hidden location in the site where you were with a door that said Restricted To Level 4 personnel and above. You have that clearance, and so decided to take a look. This wasn't on any of the maps to help personnel not get lost in the warren of halls here at this place. Inside is a dimly lit room with several file cabinets looking pristine. You locate the file cabinet marked 5000-6000. You skim over a few that look like incident reports, persons of interest reports, and other various Foundation related businesses before finding the document. You read it in utter shock.
SCP XXXX is believed to be a resurgence of The Syncope Symphony. MTF Eta-11 has recently reported several locations of the previously inert Symphony stores located near key Foundation locations. Recent reports are similar to those shown in SCP-4833, however, the objects found in these shops seem to be of more malicious intent. By the time that Foundation extraction teams arrived at these locations most or all items had been removed, with the exception of SCP XXXX in various instances. When personnel came into contact with SCP XXXX, several have suddenly acted in a destructive manner. When restrained, these individuals have been reported saying "We must reveal!" It has been speculated that they are referring to the recent events of [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-XXXX-A is similar to the figure in Addendum C of SCP-4833. The new locations of the Symphony music store seem to have been specifically targeted at Foundation personnel, as only they seem to be able to see it or have knowledge of its existence.
This would then be followed by a short narrative in which you are searching for that document out of curiosity before showing the document, which tells of a recent almost apocalypse where North Korea dropped a nuclear bomb on the United States, prompting World War Three. The Foundation aimed to save humanity, thus employing the use of SCP 2000(I know I'm using it as a main element, but the Symphony originally was trying to find that bunker, and this is based on the Symphony.
SCP XXXX is an item that appears as an acoustic guitar. Subjects standing near have noted hearing a sort of music emanating from the item when no one is playing it. Attempts to unstring it have failed, and the strings appear to be made of standard steel strings measuring .009 mm at the smallest string and .042 mm at the largest string. The headstock bears the insignia of Syncope. On the back of several instances of SCP XXXX, there appears to be a signature. Attempts at discerning the name or the handwriting have come back inconclusive. Listeners who have listened too long will start to exhibit forgetfulness, or they will seem to act under orders that no other Foundation personnel have issued. The sound has been ascertained to be a cognitohazard as several tests involving recording software have shown that while the listeners are reportedly "hearing wonderous melodies played by a master player". The player that they are reported to be seeing, while proven to be another illusion produced by SCP XXXX, appears to be a masked figure who is wearing a white conductors uniform, hereinafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-A as in SCP-4833. Individuals who have tried to communicate with SCP-XXXX-A have not been able to elicit a response, but it is believed to be a member of the Symphony. Attempts to play SCP XXXX have worked but attempts to recreate the song that listeners heard have been futile.
The listeners have after some time an urge to "destroy". This would be original because it would show the Symphony trying to fully come back out in the open as recent events have been covered up again using SCP-[REDACTED](2000)
