A signal produced by an anomalous entity in space. When the world first encountered this skip, they didn’t have technology advanced enough to hear the correct signal. The foundation did hear the accurate signal and as a result, we have SCP-XXXX-1.

So SCP-XXXX is a gas giant somewhere in the milky way galaxy that mysteriously sends signals to our solar system. The SCP itself is uncontainable but if it were to enter our solar system, The foundation has a plan to keep it in orbit around our sun. besides that the containment of the skip itself isn't really an issue, its the affects the signal has that is the containment issue.

Anybody who hears the correct SCP-XXXX signal becomes SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 is a human affected by the SCP-XXXX signal. It gives the listener an advanced form of Creutzfeldt-Jakob's disease. (this particular disease is known for its laughter) The laughter replaced with screaming. The infected scream at the same frequency as the signal does when played aloud, causing others to become infected. If left unchecked would end up in a possible AK class end of the world scenario

My idea for a narrative will follow the people affected by the SCP-XXXX signal. This would start with containment procedures regarding what the foundation should do if SCP-XXXX-1 were to spread.

Somewhere in the document, I would have the foundation deal with a security containment breach caused by conspiracy theorists. One of which survives the breach, and is put into an interrogation.
I also have a portion that expands on Dr. Goose’s relationships with staff researching SCP-XXXX, possibly expanded more upon other skips authored by me.
