Description: SCP-4931, nicknamed Baby Charles (due to its appearance and only word it ever pronounces is Charles) is a small fat baby with a pudgy, wrinkly, and squished together face that's so bad its eyes looks always closed with its tongue constantly out always drooling on itself. It wears a 1800s style black top hat and a suit to match. It's three main activities are:
- Riding an old rusty vintage tricycle from the early 1900s
- trotting in a circle with a lavish cane
- Sitting on the floor drooling on itself while playing with its toes and fingers.
We do not know were the tricycle or the cane comes from however, when taking the toy away from it, SCP-4921 goes into a tantrum and doesn't stop crying until the toy is given back. When one of the two toys are taken and it goes into a tantrum and ignored for longer than a couple of days some of the staff that keeps constant watch on SCP-4921 have all reported to have experienced similar instances when at home about a 'Shadow Man' watching them in the dark spots of their home either when they are walking around the house or when they are about to fall asleep. Many have reported that they were even afraid to go to sleep, staying up all night with the lights on because of this said 'Shadow Man'.
John West Sanders (The Red Hand): On December 14, 2009 John West Sanders aka. The Red Hand was safely transferred from the United States Penitentiary, Administrative Maximum Facility (ADX) (after committing 27 murders in Texas from 2006-2008) to the SCP Foundation after sentenced to the death penalty in early 2009. John West Sanders was brought here to undergo some experiments to find out what exactly is SCP-4921 and if possible, we can see this 'Shadow Man'. Since most of the staff that watches over SCP-4921 that have witnessed this 'Shadow Man' said they mostly see him before or while they sleep we put John Sanders into a bed and hooked him up to the Dream Scape machine in the cell with SCP-4921 and put John to sleep. Many days went by with little to no results until on December 29, 2009 2 hours after putting John to sleep he started from having small switches in the left eye to perfuse sweating and exhausted breath. After waking up and many questions later he gave us the following, "At first it was fine… I had a normal dream. I don't really remember what the dream was but I remember seeing this Shadow… it was the shape of a person. It started chasing after me and I started running away from it but then it caught up to me and then before I knew it I was back in the house with that one girl. Damn I forget her name but I killed her. I was reliving that moment over and over again thousands of times until you guys woke me up. What was most bizarre was that every time I had killed her I noticed my hands get more and more black every time as if I was becoming him." John West Sanders was put to death through injection on December 30, 2009.
Dreams and Emotions: Millions of people in the world have all experienced a dream once or twice in their life of a unknown person or entity chasing, walking, or staring at them before it reaching or tries to attack that dreamer before waking up. When trespassing in an individual's dreams it takes the form of a shadow and is often chasing, attacking, staring, walking, or even becoming the dreamer before that dreamer wakes up. When taking this shadow form people see SCP-4921 in two ways: when you are dreaming or before you go to sleep some saying that it is watches that person in the dark before they close their eyes and go to sleep, millions of people always wavering off as a bad dream or a deception of the eyes. After many test we have come to a conclusion that SCP-4921is not only invading peoples dreams creating nightmares but is feeding them with malice, greed, lust, envy, selfishness etc. making people to do bad things from destroying a relationship out of selfishness or robbing someone for money out of greed to actually turning people into murderers and rapist and criminals by manipulating their emotions and morality by overflowing their personality with such malice, lust, greed etc.. The Foundation believes that it loves and feed off of manipulating and spreading chaos for its own amusement and loves to watch people hurt and destroy not only other but themselves as well.
The Order of Integration: After much research we've discovered an organization known as The Oder of Integration. This society is believed to not only know what SCP-4921 and how it works but worship it as well almost like a God of some sort. Unlike many religious beliefs were they worship their God the students of The Order of Integration loath and some even despising SCP-4921 for turning people into horrible people. They follow him not because of his power, influence, or even because of his being but for his ideology. The Order of Integration agrees that SCP-4921 spreads these horrible feelings and manipulates emotions to people, making them do horrible acts and bad judgements, not out of amusement or entertainment but for learning.
The Esoteric Sepulcher of One: The Order of Integration believes that Baby Charles is doing this to make people learn, understand, and strive to become what they call a 'being of insight'. Those in the Order that not only found the answers to these questions, welcomed the shadow, and undergo a series of self reflecting are known as the Listeners and it is said that when a Listener dies their soul will be lost in a forest where they need to ‘find themselves’ as one last test. When completing this test their soul will enter a tomb found within the forest known as the ‘Esoteric Sepulcher of One’ which is said to have the answers of life the cosmos, and other answers that we as humans cannot comprehend or find the answers to becoming a 'being of insight'. This is all a theory that the Order of Integration believes in and is not confirmed to be true.
