Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5212 is to be kept in a standard containment cell. The cell must be under video and audio surveillance at all times, and have 2 armed guards, in the case that an entity appears from the book they are to be taken to a secure interrogation room.

Description: SCP-5212 is a hardcover black tome titled “pug’s guide to Anything, Everything, and a Little bit More”. The book is filled with blueprints of odd machines, entities, and maps of unknown places. The book has 11 chapters and what seems to be infinite pages.
Every 11 days SCP-5212 flips open to a random page in witch what ever is on the page appears in front of where the reader would be. in the case it is an entity on the page a flash of light appears and the entity is there, in the case that it is a blueprint the machine on the page appears with a flash, and in the case that it is a map a portal will appear the location of the portal on the map is usually in the center of the compass rose. the portals disappear 2 hours after an entity enters.
