Hell's Mansion

Object Class Euclid

Containment Procedures: (Secured) SCP-6067 is located at site {redacted} to ensure that it is away from the general populace as well as unwanted disappearances from inexperience personnel.
SCP-6067 is kept within a 500 acre parameter and an extra five miles from the actual facility due to its expansive reach. To prevent passage, a vertical barrier was constructed with routine camera surveillance and guards on the edge of the property.

Due to its "charm" effect, only personnel who have had experience in dealing with similar anomalies are permitted to be around and study SCP-6067.

Description SCP-6067 is an imposing forty-eight thousand square foot mega mansion, with its highest point standing at 30 stories, and it is by all outward definition the living embodiment of a haunted house/mansion. The outlook of SCP-6067 has been recorded in only two ways, depending on whether or not the person is "charmed" by the SCP.

All information regarding its interior is unknown, and the few attempts to enter SCP-6067 have resulted in the complete disappearance of the D-Class personnel used.

History Once a simple farmhouse in 1754, SCP-6067 became a landmark for some truly unnatural horror stories. The first of which occurred with its original owners who were found brutally murdered not long after its construction. Unfortunately, despite the horror that was committed on the property, its value was such that people would continue to purchase, build/add to the house, and then die on the property from unknown causes for another 116 years until its final murder victims were taken on Christmas Eve, 1870.

Afterwards, the survivors of the incident barred the property up and denied anyones attempt at purchase, but the event and the overreaction caused the now five story mansion to become an infamous urban legend, which continued to persist after the natural death of the relatives.

Upon the last owners death in 1885, the mansion was to be guarded at all times, but this contract was never honored, and as such people were soon beginning to disappear. All of whom were within 500 acres of the house, and have had either an interest in the house or had trouble life. Once that cord is struck, it was recorded that people were said to visit the house and then never leave, but due to legalities no true investigations of the mansion occurred.

By the time the SCP-Foundation took control of the situation in 1910, SCP-6067 had claimed ████ victims. Once the pieces were put together about the effect it had on people, the 05 Counsel initially commissioned the termination of SCP-6067 due to its size and unusual effect it had on people from such an expansive reach. Unfortunately, termination was proven futile as SCP-6067 exibited an awareness to any and all attempts to harm or destroy it. As such, attempts such as fire were neutralized immediately before they were able to be used. Thus, at great initial cost to the Foundation, everything within 500 acres was purchased, as was an additional ████████ kilometers of land signed over by ████████ to ensure the safety of the public. It is here that the first SCP Site was built to contain SCP-6067, which stands to this day.
