Special Containment Procedures: Any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be contained within a 10 m x 10 m x 10 m concrete room lined with 3 cm thick layers of [DATA EXPUNGED], designated Area-XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX will be moved via harnessed air lift into Area-XXXX-A. Following Incident-XXXX-1-A, Area-XXXX-A will have no flooring, and instead be lowered on top of SCP-XXXX's location from above by two crane lifts.

Due to the inability to remove SCP-XXXX-1 from it's current location in ███████, Siberia, Area-XXXX has been constructed around SCP-XXXX-4. Area-XXXX is to supply SCP-XXXX with 30 25 10 D-Class Personnel within a period of three (3) to eight (8) months following Containment Procedure-XXXX. Area-XXXX will contain the anomalous event caused by SCP-XXXX-1, and interfere if necessary. and will not interfere for the duration of the event.

When Area-XXXX-A has been established, video surveillance cameras will be implemented around the containment. Audio devices are under strict use in the vicinity of Area-XXXX-A. Any and all audio devices that record the notes created by SCP-XXXX-1 are to be eradicated through incineration. Area-XXXX will have multiple surveillance cameras at various angles permanently fixated to the top of Area-XXXX-A in order for necessary procedures for non-participant on-site personnel to be followed before the beginning of SCP-XXXX-3.

Description: SCP-XXXX has been identified as a skull mask, using the outer Viscerocranium¹ bones belonging to ████ █████████, a 26 year-old European researcher that had gone missing during his study of the Russian people residing in Siberia ██ years ago. Upon application of SCP-XXXX to a humanoid subject, designated SCP-XXXX-1, through means of [DATA EXPUNGED], the subject will collapse and begin to convulse while their skin and hair will begin to [REDACTED] and be replaced by grey feathers. SCP-XXXX-1 retains body mass, physique, and self-recognition of it's form prior to it's transformation.

The current beholder of SCP-XXXX is Agent S██████, designated SCP-XXXX-1-12, and has remained thus far for 2 instances of SCP-XXXX-3. SCP-XXXX-1 is currently 1.9 m in height and 90.2 kg in weight². Estimated age of SCP-XXXX-1 is thirty four (34), aged approximately 1 year since transformation. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 display extreme signs of aggression towards individuals, regardless of intention, showing a major behavioral shift between SCP-XXXX-1 and Agent S██████'s prior psychological exams. SCP-XXXX may be sapient and transfers past memories of previous SCP-XXXX-1 instances during transformation, as newer instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are able to seemingly recognize on-site staff despite coming in contact with them for the first time.

All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 wear ancient western Scythian battle armor, and carry an instrument similar to a Chinese pan flute, designated SCP-XXXX-2. Origin of the Scythian armor dates back to 650 CE. Various attempts to study SCP-XXXX-2 has resulted in ██ total deaths of non-participant on-site staff. Origin of these items are irrelevant to the current location of Area-XXXX and SCP-XXXX, and are currently under investigation on why SCP-XXXX is related to these items.

Following SCP-XXXX-3, SCP-XXXX-1 will become unresponsive. Prior to this state, SCP-XXXX-1 will play between six to twelve notes using SCP-XXXX-2, and a campfire of various size³. SCP-XXXX-1 will then circle the campfire while preforming ceremonial fire dances related to the ethnicity of the beholder of SCP-XXXX for three to eight months without ceasing.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous event occurs when SCP-XXXX-1's inexplicably materializes on top of Area-XXXX-A, and begins to play a series of four notes using SCP-XXXX-2 ten minutes after materialization. This series of notes are incapable of identification as all subjects involved in SCP-XXXX-3 will either be killed in the duration of the event, or be transformed into the new instance of SCP-XXXX-1.

The anomalous event, designated SCP-XXXX-3, takes place within SCP-XXXX-4, an Alpine Forest ranging 1 kilometer in diameter. During the ten minutes prior to the commencement of SCP-XXXX-3, on-site personnel are to comply to Procedure-XXXX-12-A.

+ Procedure-XXXX-12-A

Procedure-XXXX-12-A will be completed as follows:

• 30 25 10 D-Class Personnel will be evenly spread out across SCP-XXXX-4, and told to wait until SCP-XXXX-3 begins.

• All non-participant staff are to be given and wear construction-grade ear protection gear for the duration of SCP-XXXX-3.

• Security Staff are to be stationed along the catwalks overlooking SCP-XXXX-4, and given long ranged rifles in order to terminate any non-compliant D-Class participants. Terminated D-Class participants will be replaced by any available D-Class personnel, or on-site agents if absolutely necessary.

• Following SCP-XXXX-3, Security Staff will confirm the death of all participants and/or transformation of a new SCP-XXXX-1, and SCP-XXXX-1 will be re-contained using Area-XXXX-A.

During SCP-XXXX-3, the notes created by SCP-XXXX-2 will be heard throughout SCP-XXXX-4. These series of notes cause extreme aggression in subjects who aren't wearing ear protection. Ancient weapons and armor will appear around SCP-XXXX-4, and bladed weapons of different variations⁴ will appear in subject's hands. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to play these notes when activity within SCP-XXXX-4 is at low excitement, or if multiple personnel were able to avoid hearing the initial series. Upon reaching two remaining participants, SCP-XXXX-1 and subject designated SCP-XXXX-1-A, SCP-XXXX-1 will ambush SCP-XXXX-1-A from above, utilizing the alpine tree's height.

Addendum ██/██/████: SCP-XXXX-3 has been approved of code name "Battle Royale" after Junior Researcher Damian K██████ witnessed the 10th observed SCP-XXXX-3, and stated it reminded him of a new popular genre of games based on the premise of groups of people mindlessly killing each other in order to achieve victory. No code name
