Special Containment Procedures: At the time and location where SCP-XXXX is expected to materialise, a perimeter of 200 metres must be secured around its point of materialisation at least 12 hours in advance. If the point of materialisation is indoors or otherwise in a location where the risk of civilians making visual contact with SCP-XXXX is low, the perimeter size may be reduced with permission from Researcher Teo.1
No civilians are to be allowed within the perimeter until 2 hours after SCP-XXXX has dematerialised. Any civilians found within the perimeter are to be interrogated and administered Class-A amnestics before being released.
During a materialisation event, an interview is to be conducted with SCP-XXXX-1 through -4 by Junior Researcher Researcher Senior Researcher Teo. Priority is to establish at which point of its personal timeline SCP-XXXX is currently at, and attempt to identify when and where future materialisation events will occur.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an ornate grandfather clock standing 2.2 metres tall. Its design does not appear to match those of any manufacturers, historical or current. It appears slightly worn down from apparent use but has never deteriorated further from age in future materialisation events. It has been noted to be extremely accurate at keeping time, despite never requiring winding or maintenance of any kind. Even immediately after a materialisation event, it has been reported that the time shown on its dial matches that of the present time to the second.
SCP-XXXX is extremely resilient to damage, more so than unanomalous grandfather clocks of similar make and material. It is possible that it may be damaged through incendiary or explosive means, though it has thus far been unable to test that hypothesis. All attempts to do so has resulted either in a malfunction of equipment required to perform the test, SCP-XXXX dematerialising earlier than expected, or other unforeseen circumstances.
SCP-XXXX's primary anomalous trait is its property of dematerialising from its current location and reappearing in another location after an unknown period of time. No means of preventing this from occurring have been devised.
SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-3, and SCP-XXXX-4 are vocalisations that originate from within SCP-XXXX. They are sentient, and speak a variation of English, with a Northern British accent. It is noted however that their formation of words and phrases are markedly different from that of present-day English.
SCP-XXXX-1 resembles an adult female voice. She claims to be the mother of SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-3 and SCP-XXXX-4.
SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3's voices resemble those of prepubescent female children. They claim to be fraternal twins.
SCP-XXXX-4 resembles a teenage male voice. He claims to be the elder brother of SCP-XXXX-3 and SCP-XXXX-5
SCP-XXXX's first recorded materialisation event was on ██ November 1963, in the bathroom of a two-room apartment, which was the residence of Junior Researcher Teo at that time. After he informed his superiors of the incident, he was instructed to maintain a safe distance from SCP-XXXX while waiting for Foundation agents to arrive on the scene.
However, in that time, SCP-XXXX-3 and -4 begun to vocalise in English, drawing his attention. As such, Teo made the decision to conduct an impromptu interview with the entities.
