Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 instances are to be kept in medium security vaults in the Anomalous Film and Media wing of Site-██. Description: SCP-XXXX is a two part phenomenon that targets children between the ages of 3-13. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are anomalous videos, each with a fixed running time of 88 minutes and 6 seconds, that manifest near schools, libraries, day care centers, and other assorted facilities frequently used by children within the target demographic range. The contents of SCP-XXXX-1 always appear as static noise when viewed by any person over the age of 13. However, if any child within the target demographic watches the full length of the video, they will manifest several anomalous properties, wherein they will now become instances of SCP-XXXX-2. It should be noted through testing that it was concluded certain children have a measure of susceptibility to the effects of SCP-XXXX-1, the common factors include children raised with divorced parents, children that face abuse at home, or are bullied at school. All attempts at extracting the nature of the contents of SCP-XXXX-1 from SCP-XXXX-2 have been met with extreme resistance, although partial accounts from various subjects who resisted SCP-XXXX-1's influence suggest it consists of anti-authoritarian propaganda against adults and various instructions on how to engineer lethal devices from common arts and crafts supplies and other household objects.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 display an extreme hostility to adults and authority figures in their life, even if they previously had no history of hostility in their relationships, oftentimes refusing to obey all orders and commands. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 will attempt to escape containment at all costs, oftentimes building various anomalous contraptions and devices to assist them. To date, instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have built: a crossbow constructed out of Popsicle sticks and a rubber band (killing 9 and injuring 15), a spud launcher made out of PVC pipe and duct tape (0 killed, 12 injured) and an improvised explosive device out of █████'s Brand School Glue, baking soda, and vinegar.
