Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a modified humanoid containment cell in the Bio-hazard containment wing of Site __ Site Boogaloo. The cell must be hermetically sealed, with the entrance replaced by a decontamination airlock. Any staff entering the containment cell must wear a Level A Hazmat suit and undergo complete decontamination upon exit. An overhead shower must encompass the entire containment cell and be active at all times. The floor must have multiple drainage grates, with all drainage water leading to a Class Y particle filtration system. Filtered drainage water must be tested for SCP-XXXX contaminants before being repurposed, with any water still contaminated being filtered again until no contaminants are present. Class Y particle filters must be replaced daily, with used filters incinerated. Containment chamber and drainage grates must be cleaned weekly, with contaminated cleaning supplies incinerated.

SCP-XXXX is allowed access to standard humanoid furnishings and amenities with the required modifications to make them waterproof, provided they do not violate Foundation security protocols and the entity maintains its cooperative nature with the Foundation. Furniture and amenity requests may be submitted to the Lead Bio-Hazard Researcher of Site __ Site Boogaloo.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a sapient hairless humanoid entity, with a mass approximately 72kg and a height of 1.79m. Genetic testing and facial comparisons have confirmed the entity was formerly a human male, ████ ██████, but gained its anomalous condition sometime after going missing on ██/██/20██. The entity is mute, but fluent in spoken and written English, communicating with Foundation staff with writing and typical human gestures. SCP-XXXX is currently being taught sign language, although it is not yet fluent.

SCP-XXXX's skin cells contain organelles that produce an unknown organic compound. The membrane of the organelles appears to not allow the compound to interact with the rest of the cell, preventing SCP-XXXX from suffering any ill effects from producing this compound. When these skin cells die, the organelles begin to rupture, releasing the compound. This compound is highly toxic and even low concentrations can lead to extreme coughing, fever and eventual death by multiple organ failure. Foundation toxicologists have classified this compound as a Level 4 Bio-hazard, with all attempts to create a cure for SCP-XXXX infection proving unsuccessful.

SCP-XXXX also appears to suffer from a severe skin condition similar to psoriasis1 resulting in a constant shedding of skin cells, causing it pain in the process. This condition causes the entity's shed skin cells to become airborne and able to be inhaled, quickly leading to the bio-hazard being spread by air currents. It is unknown if this interaction is intentional, or if the condition is a disease incidentally contracted by SCP-XXXX. Typical skin treatments appear unsuccessful in controlling this condition, but keeping the entity's skin wet slows the process, additionally serving to mitigate some of the entity's pain. Cells trapped within water are no longer at a danger of spreading, and are easily disposed of in a water filtration system can still pose a danger as seen in Incident XXXX-2, and must be filtered immediately without leaving Site boundaries.

The entity appears to be regretful or at least conscious of the danger its condition creates, cooperating fully with and expressing concern for Foundation staff, even attempting to warn the initial recovery team.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered on ██/09/2018 in ███████, Australia. Foundation agents embedded in a local council were notified of a ███████ suburban property using extreme amounts of water. Agents found the property abandoned with SCP-XXXX sealed in the shower cubicle with silicon sealer, supposedly to minimize the spread of its airborne contaminants. When agents attempted to assess the entity, it caught their attention and wrote a warning about its condition in the condensation on the walls of the cubicle, telling the agents; "KEEP SHOWER STOP FUMES". The agents called in a hazmat recovery team, with a cover story of asbestos removal. With further warnings from the initial agents and SCP-XXXX, recovery was a success with no casualties and the entity was transported to Site __.

Addendum: After Incident XXXX-2, the Foundation finalized plans for the construction of Site Boogaloo and the relocation of SCP-XXXX and other anomalies that have containment procedures that require a large drain on local resources to the new site.
