Object Class: Neutralized
Special Containment Procedures:
Anyone with knowledge concerning SCP-████'s anomalous effects are to be treated with Class A amnestics.
Description: SCP-████ is a 2.4 x 2.1 x 2.1 meter storage shed composed of iron and aluminum sheeting. It has no apparent windows and minor cracks are visible. It has major water damage, rust, and corrosion on the exterior. In the interior of SCP-████ there are various tools and materials cluttered about, including but not limited to, brooms, rakes, ladders, hammers, wrenches, lawn equipment, handsaws, screwdrivers, wooden planks, fertilizer, etc. A shelf is seen right of the door, which holds up an empty flower pot. Located against the wall opposite the door is a wooden workbench with a note resting on top. The note reads, "Find Family" written poorly in blue crayon.
SCP-████ has two large limbs that look similar to human legs protruding from its underside. The legs are 2.7 meters long and the skin is of a gray tint. The feet of the creature appears to have no toes, nails, or appendages and are instead fused together to create a smooth "mannequin" like shape. These legs have been shown to be powerful enough to crush air conditioning units, lawnmowers, parked fishing boats, grills, and other sheds. SCP-████ seems to only travel at night. When the sun goes down or it is alerted of someone approaching, SCP-████ digs its feet in the ground deep enough to cover the entirety of its legs. It stays in this state until the sun goes down or the person is no longer a threat. During the night it travels by moving over fences of backyards. If it has to travel without using a backyard, it will run from up to speeds of ██-██ miles per hour until it reaches the next estate.
If a living organism is to enter SCP-████ they will suffer from immediate full-body paralysis. After 10 minutes the organism expires. Once the organism expires it will start to fuse itself into a smooth flat object. From this stage, the organism will start to transform by unknown means into a random object corresponding to its size (a human adult male may become a ladder or broom, etc, but a cat would become a toolbox or a wrench, etc.) These objects vary from ladders, wrenches, hammers, wooden beams, etc. Once the object is fully formed, it will be completely indistinguishable from a normal version of it. (See Experiment Logs ████)
SCP-████ was brought to the attention of the Foundation when ██ missing person cases, lots of "crushed" property, and sightings of a, "walking shed", were reported in the town of ████████, █████████. After discovering the note inside SCP-████ and the directional movement of where the missing person cases were occurring, Researcher ██████████ requested that SCP-████ was to be followed and studied in efforts of finding the possibility of an anomalous "family" of other instances or versions of SCP-████.
SCP-████ currently is located in the backyard of the ████████ family in ████████, ████████ and all of its anomalous effects have seemed to cease. (See Addendum ████-A) The father of the ████████ family was interviewed about SCP-████ and shortly after was treated with Class A amnestics. (See Addendum ████-B)
Addendum ████-A: SCP-████ hasn't moved for four days and further inspection was done to show that the anomalous effects of SCP-████ have ceased. The physical appearance has not undergone any changes. The final amount of objects in SCP-████, not including the note and the workbench, totaled to ██. It was determined that ██ of them were missing person cases that were in the area. The note has been drawn on with a red crayon. In red crayon, there was a checkmark next to the words, "Find Family." Mobile Task Force Psi-7 was sent to breach the home and search it for any anomalies or anomalous effects. The estate was not anomalous in any way.
Addendum ████-B
Interviewed: Jason ████████
Interviewer: Researcher ████████
Foreword: The estate of Jason ████████ was searched and evaluated by Mobile Task Force Psi-7. The estate did not have any anomalous properties nor did it have any anomalies on the premises. A false warrant was fabricated.<Begin Log>
Researcher ████████: Jason, is your name correct?
Jason ████████: Yeah, yeah it is.
Researcher ████████: How long has your family been at this estate?
Jason ████████: I've been here for about, I believe about 3 years. I still don't understand why you guys just kicked down my door and raided the place. Do you even have a warrant?
Researcher ████████: Yes, we do, now Mr. ████████, I want to ask you about your shed. How long have you had it?
Jason ████████: Until now, I thought it was gone.
Researcher ████████: Can you elaborate?Jason ████████: A couple years ago we moved away from our previous home. Hurricane ████████ hit it. Thankfully we evacuated in time. When we left, we had to leave everything behind. Including the shed. I built it with my grandfather when I was 12. It was the best thing we built together. I had a collection of random scrap my dad would give me after completing his projects. I would sit in the shed and try to make something out of it, couldn't really make anything because I didn't have any tools of my own. But I remember one morning I went out in the backyard to go looking for my cat. I checked the shed and on the floor, I found the hammer, in perfect condition! It was like the shed gave it to me. If we are being realistic, my grandpa probably left it there for me, but I was thankful for it anyway.
Researcher ████████: Did you ever find that cat?
Jason ████████: Nah, he went missing. Anyway, after we evacuated and the whole thing blew over, we all came back to our poor house. It wasn't standing. And the shed was gone. I assumed it was washed away. But now, it is right there in my backyard, just like nothing ever happened.
Researcher ████████: Don't worry, nothing ever happened, masks on.
Jason ████████: What?
