Item #: SCP-XXXX

Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX is to be kept aboard research and containment site-7 in sector-3. SCP-XXXX is not to be taken to onto any form of land or body of freshwater. If site 7 is to be stopped for any reason SCP-XXXX is to be moved on to a foundation sea vessel by onsite MTF omega-97 ("stormwinds") for temporary containment before 21 hours of absent movement.

Every 7 years physical contact must take place with SCP-XXXX by personal experiencing loss. D-class with non existing coping mechanisms for stressful situations on file are to be recommend for this station. Contact with SCP-XXXX will be maintained for 7 days by a D-class personal accompanied by a head researcher and 2 of their staff. The D-class personnel will be moved to outpost halie-14 located by site-7's southernmost route in the northeastern Pacific. SCP-XXXX-1 will be required to stand on a platform with a radius of 300ft for the duration of stage-1 and stage-2, no research personnel are to be with in a 200 ft radius of SCP-XXXX-1.

update july 21st 2000: One member of MTF omega-97 will accompany the Head Researcher and his team in neutralizing SCP-XXXX-1 if the entity makes it to stage-3 and tries to escape.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous object taking the form of a necklace made of large blue orbs of sea glass held together by twine. No matter the build of the subject SCP-XXXX will always rest its lowest point below the collarbone and at the midsection of the sternum, this indicates it has some sort of awareness of its surrounding if only to adjust to its wearers dimensions. when not worn by anyone it will maintain the length for the last subject to make physical contact with SCP-XXXX. once contact is made with SCP-XXXX the clarity of the blue sea glass orbs will change. Head Researcher Navarro Blackwitt believes the change in clarity to be some kind of psychological mood ring affect but stresses that it is just a hunch backed by no evidence and is just a feeling. SCP-XXXX's more outwardly anomaouls features includes the transformation of an individual into an SCP-XXXX-1 entity and solidification of SCP-XXXX-2 entities. When without a subject for SCP-XXXX-1 for 21 hours SCP-XXXX becomes incomporial and will teleport somewhere within the pacific in the hands of someone new. While it is not always the case SCP-XXXX often chooses people who show signs of Ietsism views and wish to be the one to change the world. SCP-XXXX will not teleport if it remains on a moving vessel in the pacific ocean. This is only temporary because if it does not turn an individual into SCP-XXXX-1 within 7 years it will go incomporial and teleport to find someone to transform.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was first discovered on 6/23/1974 aboard a seeming normal fishing rig. trying to reach point nemo. The ship made it unusually far for being bombarded by standard foundation memetic dissuasion buoys this set off alarms when nearing the point. The foundation sent mobile task force omega-97 "stormwinds" to check out the incursion. they found that the ship had large sections of it turned to glass and the MTF accounts around 14 blue glass statues depicting men dying from various causes. MTF Stormwinds also found a boy of about age 7 suffering from effects we now know to be mid-stage 1 of the SCP-XXXX-1 metamorphosis. The MTF took the boy in for questioning and containment. The ship vanished after reaching the waters of point nemo.

Addendum-XXXX-1: once a D-class personnel is in contact with SCP-XXXX for 14 to 28 hours the D-class personnel will start seeing "a few figures that are visible but feels like looking through foggy glass" these figures are classified as SCP-XXXX-2, and the D-class individual will have entered stage-1 and now be classified as SCP-XXXX-1 and the process to become SCP-XXXX-1 can not be reversed after this event.

SCP-XXXX-1 will over the course of 7 days become a blue sea glass statue with a visible skeleton. it will start with the fingernails and teeth seemingly growing and spreading when not being observed until 70% conversion of the body. SCP-XXXX-1 will be able to communicate with the research staff up until stage-2 on the 8th day even when moving body parts would be impossible. upon then everything but the irises will be converted and SCP-XXXX-1 will be unable to communicate or move for the day radiating a 200% stronger blue glow with a radius of 200ft. aging until the point of death or the conversion to stage-3 at midnight of the 8th day. 98% of SCP-XXXX-1 cases result in death at stage-2. Within the blue glow several SCP-XXXX-2 entities will travel by and interact with SCP-XXXX-1 in relative speed to its death or conversion to stage-3. in the event SCP-XXXX-1 expires during stage-2 the 200 ft radius of blue light will implode into SCP-XXXX-1 and and shine white with no heat. SCP-XXXX-1 will take the pose of how it died then set off an explosion of cold blue fire scorching the platform and transforming it into a foot thick blue glass circle with intricate carvings of anything SCP-XXXX-1 experienced in stage-2, cross checking with books from scp-4001 give us a better picture of what happens in stage-2.

if SCP-XXXX-1 makes it to stage-3, like in the event of stage-2 death the glow will dissipate and implode on SCP-XXXX-1 and turn a shining white till it reveals SCP-XXXX-1 with no anomalous appearance except for eye color. whatever eye color SCP-XXXX-1's eyecolor was before stage-3 it is now a deep blue not unlike the seaglass they were constructed of not moments before. commonly a stage-3 SCP-XXXX-1 will have an enormous ego and boust of its many long listed accomplishments during time in stage-2 from overthrowing governments to ruling with an iron fist and will usually try and attack the research staff. A shot to the head will still kill them.
