Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept in a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m cell at all times. Unless for testing, it is completely prohibited to put any object, entity or other anomaly in SCP-XXXX's cell.

SCP-XXXX is to be fed three meals per day, and provided clothing similar to D-Class Personnel clothing.

During a Containment breach, SCP-XXXX's cell must be on lockdown until the escaped anomalies have been recontained. (see Incident XXXX-6)

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Caucasian male approximately twenty years of age. SCP-XXXX is bald. Entity measures 1.85 meters and weighs 70 kilograms. Subject tends to cooperate with staff members, despite it's will to escape. Attempts to obtain information pertaining to SCP-XXXX's origins have thus far resulted in failure, with the entity refusing to cooperate and becoming silent for extended periods of time.

SCP-XXXX's properties manifest when an object, entity or anomaly is introduced to it. SCP-XXXX will stare at the said object for approximately 2 minutes, before starting to imitate the object. SCP-XXXX will accurately imitate the object, gaining it's strength, mentality and abilities. It has been noted that during imitation of an object, SCP-XXXX will never change it's physical form. After imitating the said object, SCP-XXXX must be left alone for at least 24 hours, due to inactivity, SCP-XXXX will go back to it's initial state. Attempts to communicate with SCP-XXXX while it is imitating an object have been unsuccessful, due to SCP-XXXX simply responding that he is the object he is imitating.

After several examinations, SCP-XXXX has been proved to have no anomalies in it's anatomy, despite it's properties. Further tests have proven that SCP-XXXX's DNA does not change while imitating an object. It is believed that SCP-XXXX does not have any physical transformation while imitating an object, despite the change of strength and mentality.

SCP-XXXX will only be able to imitate objects that are in it's line of sight. Pictures, video recordings, or live recordings shown to SCP-XXXX will prove to be uneffective, apart from SCP-XXXX eventually imitating the picture frame or the camera itself.

SCP-XXXX will not imitate :

  • Molecules (and below)
  • Abstract terms
  • Events
  • Rooms and Areas
  • SCP-XXXX
  • Weather
  • Deceased Entities

Addendum: Recovery

SCP-XXXX was recovered in England, in ██████, when the local authorities saw a caucasian male flying in the air, presumably imitating a bird. This event caught the foundation's attention, leading to SCP-XXXX's recovery 2 hours after said event. The citizens were told this was just a show with effects, and that SCP-XXXX was actually attached to a rope to make it seem like it was flying, as an excuse.

Incident XXXX-6: Containment breach
During a containment breach of SCP-███, SCP-███ eventually got exposed to SCP-XXXX. After SCP-███ was recontained, SCP-XXXX breached containment using SCP-███'s properties, by walking through walls. SCP-XXXX was later temporarily contained in an empty containment cell similar to SCP-███'s cell, before SCP-XXXX went back to it's initial state. SCP-XXXX was then put back in it's containment cell. 4 hours after, Dr.██████ was found dead in SCP-███'s [REDACTED].

Experiments Log:

Dr. ████ was chosen to control and supervise the experiments involving SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX-1
Experiment : An apple was introduced in SCP-XXXX's cell and was taken away 4 minutes after.

Results : After approximately 2 minutes, SCP-XXXX got in fetal position and stood silent for 24 hours before returning back to it's initial state.

Addendum XXXX-2
Experiment : A rock was introduced in SCP-XXXX's cell.

Results : After approximately 2 minutes, SCP-XXXX got in fetal position and stood silent. After 48 hours the rock was taken out of XXXX's cell. After 24 hours SCP-XXXX went back to it's initial state.

Note : SCP-XXXX did not suffer from starvation, nor dehydration. Currently studying if SCP-XXXX also gains the survival conditions of the object it imitates.

Addendum XXXX-3
Experiment : A golden retriever was introduced in SCP-XXXX's cell and was taken away 4 minutes after. A few dog treats were then introduced in SCP-XXXX's cell.

Results : After approximately 2 minutes, SCP-XXXX got on four legs and started to what seemed to be barking. After 6 hours SCP-XXXX ate the dog treats. After 18 hours SCP-XXXX went back to it's initial state.

Addendum XXXX-4
Experiment : SCP-049 was introduced in SCP-XXXX's cell and was taken away 4 minutes after. SCP-049 was handcuffed and had taken several sedatives. 1 hour after, a class D personnel was introduced in SCP-XXXX's cell.
Results : After approximately 2 minutes, SCP-XXXX started to ask for humanoid bodies. 1 hour after, a class D personnel was introduced in SCP-XXXX's cell. SCP-XXXX proceeded to thank the staff members, before asking basic medical questions. Eventually SCP-XXXX touched the class D personnel. The Class D Personnel fell down, and SCP-XXXX ignored the body for 23 hours, before turning back to it's initial state.

Note : It was later found that the Class D Personnel only fell asleep, Class D Personnel reported feeling "numb" and claimed to have a headache. Currently studying if SCP-XXXX's properties have a limit.

Interview XXXX-5
SCP-XXXX was interviewed after the XXXX-6 incident.

Experiments involving SCP-XXXX and other anomalies are currently suspended until further notice.
