Item #: SCP-(Number)

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-# is to be contained in a 5.6 meter by 10.3-meter mock-up stage that is in the middle of a 2x2 mile space, with a monitoring camera that updates feed every 4 seconds.
To prevent SCP-# from breaching containment, personnel are required to set dummies onto metal bars. These bars move in ways that mimic movement and seizures. Inside each dummies chest cavity is to contain and conceal a live chicken before each performance. After each performance, dummies are to be rearranged, and chickens replaced with live ones every 4-5 months. Chickens who are found to be alive are to be sent for testing.

Description: SCP-# is a crudely made paper mache tree around 2.44 meters in height, with two giant branches that point upward. SCP-# possesses a face that takes up the majority of its trunk. It has two eyes, its left eye quadrupling the size to its right, and a gaping jaw full of clock hands made of lead, silver, and iron. SCP-# also possesses many "roots" at the top and bottom of the base that act as legs.

SCP-# is able to make people think that it is a normal stage prop. People informed about SCP-# are unable to distinguish which prop SCP-# is, even if they are standing beside it.

Before containment, SCP-# took shelter in buildings that had regular activities of plays every 4-5 months. Where it was while not at these locations is unknown. When SCP-# would appear, it emerges from closets or any other rooms that are unused in the building, and make its way to where all the stage props are stored. After finding the room, SCP-# will remain dormant until the day of performance. When the play begins, SCP-# will be facing away from the audience. Around the middle portion of the play, SCP-# will gradually turn around to face the crowd. During this time, the illusion of it being a prop slowly fades the more it turns. When SCP-# is completely facing the audience, anyone in a 1-mile radius will be suddenly immobilized and all light sources will malfunction. After an undetermined amount of time, SPC-# will light up and start flashing random colors every 0.3 seconds.

SCP-# was recovered from ████████████ High School after being notified of collective immobility in the town of ████████. After dispatching personnel, SCP-# was found in the school stuck in between a hallway door and was unable to get itself loose. People found at the school stage were having violent seizures. Research shows people affected by these seizures will have a 79.1% chance of dying by exhaustion/head trauma, and others having a 20.9% chance of going into a 2-week coma. People who wake from their coma have the urge to work on projects that have suddenly appeared in their mind. People affected by SCP-# are to be taken into custody and given a standard living quarter.
