Item #: SCP-4273
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4273 is to be kept in a 1 x 1 x 1 meter glass tank which is drained of all liquid every 200 hours. It is current held in site 13. Testing is to be carried out by at least 2 level 2 researchers. It cannot be removed unless the tank is emptied first.
Description: SCP-4273 is a 6 x 6 x 6 cm cube with a vantablack sphere in the center. SCP-4273 always floats in the middle of any liquid no matter the density. SCP-4273 is incapable of damage and is of similar composition to SCP-148. Upon the sphere making contact with any liquid the sides begin to produce this liquid at 5 liters per hour. Testing reveals that the inside of SCP-4273 remains dry when producing liquid, this is probably to prevent it from triggering its own liquid production. Liquids can be force into this area via syringes or tube. Any living organism that drinks a liquid produced by SCP-4273 gains a resistance to all memetic effects when the liquid is in the system. When not testing it is set to produce water. SCP-4273 was discovered when talk of a “fountain of youth” began circulating in the town of Dryden, Ontario. The object was picked up during midnight with relative ease. Class-A amnestic were released into the fountain upon removal.
