Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX and the risk of the general public gaining awareness, the file containing all known occurances and information involving SCP-XXXX have been locked behind a Level 3 SCiPNET Login Verification Code, known to only Level 3 and Level 4 personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX, certian site directors and O5 Command.
SCP-XXXX-1 is to be contained inside of a 30 kilometer by 30 kilometer enclosed area situated 40km away from ██████, Mauritania. This area, designated Area-XXXX, is to be enclosed by a 13 meter tall electric fence, and must at all times output an electrical current of exactly 3.92 MW. At least ten (10) members of Foundation security personnel are to preform routine patrols using Foundation-issued civilian pickup trucks, along a dirt road surrounding the immediate area of the fence.
Additionally, all commercial flights are to be deterred from entering a 10km by 10km restricted airspace encompassing Area-XXXX. All satellite footage of Area-XXXX is to be taken down by Foundation web-crawlers.
Any personnel who enter Area-XXXX are to be equipped with one 150 volt long-range electrical rifle, and should travel in groups of at least 3 personnel. If SCP-XXXX-1 breaches containment, onsite nuclear warheads are to be detonated remotely by O5-Command.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a geographical anomaly situated in central Mauritania. SCP-XXXX consists of a massive geological structure roughly 30km in diameter, and almost completely circular. The anomaly consists of one large plateau in the center, followed by two (2) "rings" of elevated ground of the same height, with deep valleys separating each of the plateaus.
Soil samples of Area-XXXX have revealed that the area surrounding the geological anomaly pre-date the area near the plateaus, leading to an educated guess by researchers that the anomaly had been created roughly 13,000 years ago.
SCP-XXXX-1 refers to a sapient anomaly that resides and roams within Area-XXXX. The anomaly is vaguely humanoid, measuring 12.8 meters in height, possessing a slender body. SCP-XXXX bears a human torso ending in six legs, and six severely distended arms, each ending with a chain connected to an iron flail at each end. SCP-XXXX-1 posses no facial features, apart from a noticeable ridge stretching vertically down most of the head, as well as six eyes. Upon SCP-XXXX-1's surface is a small seal/sigil, roughly similar to the one found on both SCP-4840 and SCP-2256.
SCP-XXXX-1 is completely invisible to the naked eye, and only visible using infrared light. SCP-XXXX-1 goes through cycles of movement patterns throughout the year, staying atop the central plateau for 112 days before treading the deep valleys of SCP-XXXX for another 294 days before repeating. SCP-XXXX-1 is hostile and will attempt to exterminate any human being within 100 meters. During this state, SCP-XXXX-1 has been shown to [DATA EXPUNGED].
Prior to Indecent Talmac-1, 23 individuals have died as a result of [DATA EXPUNGED] by SCP-XXXX-1. The only known weakness that seems to deter SCP-XXXX-1's movement pattern and stamina is a large amount of electricity directed in a short, powerful burst, while smaller shocks stun SCP-XXXX-1 for only a few seconds.
Discovery and Containment: SCP-XXXX was first brought to Foundation awareness in ██/█/19██, when a civilian living in the nearby village of ██████ wandered into SCP-XXXX and went missing. A rescue team of three members of local fire and rescue services went into SCP-XXXX to operate a search and rescue mission, and went missing shortly after.
