Elevator Pitch: A small vial with a label saying “bad blood.” If one has committed crimes just because their family did, then being in the presence of this SCP will slowly cause pain in places like the neck, wrist, and heart. This will soon be followed by the slow drainage of blood and bodily fluids, being transported to the vial. Once the vial is filled, they will stop losing blood. In most cases the victim will pass out or hallucinate. This acts as a sort of “lesson” not to make yourself a criminal just because you have “bad blood.”
Central Narrative: This article follows a person who has committed many crimes, such as robberies and eventually murder, because of peer pressure from his family, in which his mother killed his father and became a known serial killer. I want to have a recurring action in this story of the main character questioning himself, but just brushing it off as, “I have no choice, I just have bad blood.”
I also want to bring up the fact that he has cut himself many times, making the encounter with the SCP slightly more lethal, but obviously still doesn’t kill him. He will end up in prison, and will snitch on his mother. He will be released, unlike his mother, after his many years in prison. But he will live his life thinking that he doesn’t deserve it, because of his terrible logic that he just has “bad blood.”
Hook/Attention-Grabber: It will be very short, getting straight to the point that he is a criminal because of his family.
