Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: As it is hard to define SCP-XXXX instances, MTF Tau-14 ("Blue Bird Silencers") is given a free discretion of searching and removing those objects. Tau-14 personnel is to receive daily necessities chosen by the Foundation instead of formal salaries.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a picture of a jujube tree (Ziziphus zizyphus), severely burned. The context suggests that it might be got burned by thunderstruck, although it is not certain. Other contexts such as its photographer, location and date are missing.

Perceiving SCP-XXXX has a positive effect on the perceiver's money fortune. The power of this ability is proportional from the period of said perceiving length, which is almost $10 per hour. The income caused by this effect does not confine in American Dollars, but also subject to high-mobile goods such as foreign currencies and jewelry. The effect manifests around a month after the exposure.

Copies of SCP-XXXX imitate said ability, including electronic subjects. Editing those copies have no effect on their anomaly, so it is confirmed that all copies of SCP-XXXX have identical anomalies of the original. The same effect occurs even when the original trace is not left on the copy, which suggests that the causal relationship between the original and the copy is the cause of the anomaly.

SCP-XXXX is currently not fully contained, with at least 50,000 instances estimated to be on the Internet, with over 70% of them on the SNS. The average daily increase rate is about 103% of the day before, abnormally fast than similar anomalies. This seems to be a result of some understanding of the object's anomaly by civil society.

If this trend continues, it is expected that a world-wide EK-Class Economic Panic Scenario will be triggered within about a year.
